The hotel was beautiful, clean and bed was comfortable. Staff was very accommodating. Didnt eat the food so can't comment on that. There was a full- sized gym and movie theater on site! Also an upscale restaurant and pool. the biggest complaint I had was the night- time noise when trying to sleep. It woke me up both nights. Bring ear plugs! Also the room was facing the front and I could here a lot of noise outside.
My husband and I celebrated our anniversary with a night at the Madison Hotel. We enjoyed area dining the first night and visited historic sites in Morristown the next day. After dinner, we checked in and had great drinks in Rod's Steakhouse Bar. The feel of the restaurant is Old World, but not stodgy. There was a due playing music in the bar. The room was lovely and very comfortable and the price through Expedia made it very affordable. I highly recommend the Madison Hotel.
Sunday brunch was very good.
Out door pool in the summer time was a plus.
Given extra time to check without any stress was greatly appreciated.
However, I have stayed at Westin properties before and I am very accustomed to a more posh hotel.
This New Jersey town’s claim to fame is being the military capital during the American Revolutionary War. Morristown is home to the largest statue of Thomas Paine, as well as to The Seeing Eye, a guide dog school.
