"Wij hadden een prima verblijf in het Night Desert Camp. ’s Ochtends waren we in Midelt. Via What’s App hebben we doorgegeven dat wij rond 16 uur in Merzouga zouden zijn. Wij werden opgehaald bij Auberge Sahara. Daar konden wij onze auto parkeren. Chauffeur Mohamed stond al klaar met zijn 4WD. Onderweg naar het kamp bezochten we o.a. een oude mijn en dronken we thee bij een nomadenfamilie. Bij aankomst in het kamp hebben wij een rit op een kameel gemaakt voor de zonsondergang. "The staff are beyond friendly. We enjoyed our fireside riddles and laughed a lot with some of the staff. Our camel ride out to the camp with guide Mohammed was stellar. There was a stop for the sunset and some local berbere men shared their sand board with us so we could play on the dunes. The only thing I'd change about the entire experience is the dinner. I wish it'd been more authentic and less "fancy". I should also warn that the heat does not and has not worked in the camp in some time. We...

"A good stay for a night. The tent had all amenities like a king size bed, hot water, charging outlets etc. A warning- no heater! The dinner was okay. Though despite telling them one guest was vegetarian, they still overlooked this and did not even offer alternatives, which is surprising, this being a luxury camp. Otherwise an okay experience. "

My airlines lost my luggage and the hotel staff assisted me in where to purchase clothes and basic necessities for my vacation. "I finally found the piece of paper with names of people to thank at the front desk. I had a problem charging my phone and the following people actually lent me their own chargers for an hour or two: one time in the evening and one time in the morning. Thanks to Mohammed (and Yasmine) and Abderrahmane! Thanks again to the terrific front desk staff! You help me a lot with the lending of the phone charger and you and me feel welcomed at the hotel. The only issues that I did not know about is that there was no heating in the room, only cooling. And I missed the information about the airport shuttle location -- but I finally found it and it was a terrific easy service to get to the hotel from the airport. Overall, it was a great place to stay. "

"I visited during the AFCON 2025 tournament in January, and interestingly, this was the same hotel the Super Eagles of Nigeria stayed in—they had checked out just a few hours before I arrived. The exterior of the hotel was a bit misleading at first; the frontage was quite busy with parked cars and taxis. However, once inside, the atmosphere changed completely. The lobby was spacious and welcoming, though it occasionally felt a little chilly. The pool area looked fantastic, but the weather was too cold to enjoy it. Breakfast was outstanding—truly one of the best I’ve had in recent times, both in quality and variety. My room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The hotel’s location is a major plus. It sits right next to a mall, making it extremely convenient with plenty of dining options just steps away. It’s also within walking distance of many places, which made getting around very easy. It definitely looked like a good pick for a resort type experience when the weather (temperature) allows for it. In my time there, it was a bit quiet in the common areas due to the chilly temperature. "
