This unique place has a style all its own. Our loft, “The Mountaineer Suite”, sits on 2 floors, features a full kitchen/dining area, full private bathroom with a custom shower, along with heated floors for those cold, winter months. Follow the stairs to the loft area where you’ll find a spacious, open floor plan which features a workspace, a spacious living room with a large comfortable sectional, (which adds additional sleeping space), Smart TV and 2 beds, one full/queen size and one twin. There is a parking pad right out front for Airbnb parking. The entrance to the Airbnb is through the top entrance when facing the house from the parking area. PLEASE NOTE: THE ENTRANCE FOR THIS AIRBNB IS THE TOP DOOR ENTRANCE, THERE IS ANOTHER AIRBNB AT THE BOTTOM HOUSE. PLEASE USE TOP DOOR ENTRANCE. "Key" Access to the Space is through an app called August. I will send a link via text once you book and it will instruct you to download the app and create an account, once you do that you will see your invitation there. Then, once you arrive at the front door, you will open the app and see a red dot, tap the dot and it will turn green and unlock the door. To re-lock, just tap the green dot. It's slick and simple and you have no physical keys to keep track of or worry about losing! The Mountaineer Suite is situated on 2 floors. Kitchen and bathroom on the first floor and stairs lead you up to the loft area where you'll find an open floor plan with living room, 2 beds and a desk area. The entrance is located on the upper deck area. Just keep in mind that the Airbnb does have 2 levels, there is a narrow stairway leading up to the loft area, which is the main living space with living room and beds. We had a great time! It’s close to dining and groceries and the river and hiking. The property is beautiful and feels secluded because of the trees. It was very clean and comfortable. The beds were so comfy. The host was very helpful and responsive to my texts and went way out of her way to help us out when my daughter misplaced an important item. Downstairs, the kitchen area was clean and well-appointed, and the bathroom was very comfortable with heated floors and an amazing shower. The upstairs living/sleeping area was also clean and comfortable, though the bed nooks may be a bit cramped for some. We primarily used the large sectional sofa. Our only real complaint was the stairs between the two floors. They are very steep and narrow, with a sharp turn.
