Brimming with character, this charming country cottage is full of exposed beams and features a welcoming wood burner set in a stunning stone fireplace. The open plan living space is elegantly furnished, with original artwork and cosy window seats that overlook the secluded garden. On a summer's afternoon, this garden is a perfect little suntrap. The Forge is a dog friendly holiday home, suitable for one well-behaved dog. Accommodation This two bedroom holiday cottage in Upper Oddington is perfectly suited for those looking to get together with family and friends, exploring the local countryside and eateries. This cottage is ideal for a stay in the Cotwolds, being close to many beautiful villages, towns and places of interest. It's also walking distance to the local pubs. We had lunch at the Horse and Groom in Upper Oddington and it was excellent. Though quite small, this charming cottage was perfect for our stay - in a quiet location, beautifully decorated and well equiped. The owners have made sure that everything you need is provided for, including some coffee, milk, washing up liquid, cloths, etc. - small points but much appreciated. It is an amazing location, and the Forge is just beautiful little cottage with lots of character! Beds are so comfortable and the whole time we felt so relaxed! There was few things which do need an improvement like the taps in the shower were leaking the whole time and the sink tap in the kitchen too. I scored 4 for cleanliness due to few cobwebs on the walls, but it was very clean. For the amount of money I would provide logs for the log burner , as when you come in colder months and the weather is not great you want to relax by the log burner, but we had to go to tesco and get few more bags extra.
