This hotel seems to be an old colonial era office building. Each room is somewhat small and has just functional furniture, but it is comfortable and is such a pretty and unique setting. Definitely nice and clean, too. It is pretty open to the outdoors (again, like old colonial buildings, has patios, etc, without roof), which is fantastic for most of the year but could be unpleasantly cold in the coldest time of year (maybe January to early March). You can't really beat the location, very walkable to Cathedral but far enough to not be too loud. And it feels like a sort of hidden spot. There's 3 stories and no elevator, so not a good idea when you are stumbling drunk or just lazy. And there seems to be no way for someone in a wheelchair to stay here. Even to get across the first floor patio there is a step. (Possibly one or two rooms are accessible, not sure--call ahead and make very sure of this if you need.) Not a lot of amenities other than free and strong wifi. But a pretty good deal over all.
