No better way to start your day than to listen to the waves & feel the ocean breezes! Each duplex side sleeps 12 East Side VRBO 9676787ha Each room has been uniquely styled in cool calming colors-Nothing takes away from the Atlantic Ocean with all its ever changing colors of ocean & sky! Our home is set up with a Reverse Floor Plan to maximize the view-triple deck doors, windows & bay window allow views from many sides. The main living area on the top floor includes the comfy sofas with recliners, dining area for 8 plus 4 at the kitchen bar, and fully equipped kitchen with beautiful copper apron sink & granite countertops. A queen bedroom with ocean view & bath with granite vanity & copper sink plus tub/shower combo are on this floor too. The middle floor hosts the Oceanfront master bedroom with en suite bath complete with new Soaking Tub & newly tiled separate rainhead Shower, & double granite vanity with copper sinks. There are 2 other bedrooms on this floor-one with twin beds and another with a queen bed. Each bedroom has an Ocean view. Another bath is on this floor with granite vanity & copper sink plus tub/shower combo. The first floor has our welcoming foyer, high efficiency washer & dryer in its own closet and 5th bedroom with single twin boat bed & single/full bunk beds/sleeps 4 Each of our two oceanfront decks has a dining table with 4 chairs. The top deck outside the main living area also has 2 rockers & 2 lounge chair plus an umbrella for the dining area. The second deck (covered) outside the oceanfront master bedroom also has a wonderful rocker to sit in and watch the waves & feel the ocean breezes-so cozy! Did we mention the oceanfront outdoor rainhead shower area-like none other! We have a sitting area with 2 rockers, & unique flower garden area plus you can hear the ocean waves as you shower! Great place to clean up after leaving the beach. (foot wash available on the private walkway too) Since we are a duplex, we have designated parking for 4-5 cars (one car garage). Charcoal grill, beach chairs, & kids' beach toys are stored here for your use as well. The main living area has a 50”smart TV. The MBR has a 46”smart TV. The 5th BR on lower floor also has a smart TV. Free WiFi is installed for your use too. We are located directly on the Atlantic Ocean with spectacular views of sunrises in the east and sunsets in the west. No Wake Zone West provides all the needed amenities plus those that only God can provide . . . again the sunrises and sunsets, the smell of the salt air, gorgeous waves, soft sand, pelican fly-overs, and the bountiful and unique shells that wash up on shore. Every time of the year is special and there is no bad day at the beach. We've enjoyed the strong winds and powerful waves during tropical storms, the awesome hot days of summer, and the relaxing cool days of autumn. The mere sound of the ocean waves brings a calmness to weary travelers. It's nice to go to sleep and wake up to the steady rhythm of the Atlantic Ocean. We had the grandkids (5 & 8 yrs old), our grown kids, and us (7 people total). The house was exactly as described. Our host was great with communications and check in/out. All appliances worked perfectly, furniture and beds were very comfortable, and everything was clean when we checked in. On day one the hot water heater started leaking; we called the host, and it was repaired that same day while we were away so no issue at all…very responsive. View from upper floors was spectacular. A/C worked great and kept the house very cool even though it was +93F all week. We would definately rent this house again…just wish it had an elevator. The entire vacation was perfect. The house, which was just as described, was beautiful. It was extremely clean and everything needed for our trip was supplied. Debby, the host was very helpful. She told us about the house, the area and good places to eat. We had a blast. We do plan to return sometime and hope to be able to stay here again. Recommend this place to anyone. Our family/ friend group rented both East and West sides of this property the same week so that we could all vacation together at Emerald Isle, our absolute favorite beach spot! This arrangement suited our needs perfectly for our group of adults, young adults and 3 children 5 and under. Property was clean, well maintained, and stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen to cook our meals each night. Short boardwalk to beach is perfect and this area of beach was very uncrowded. Sunrises and sunsets are visible from the porch which is amazing! Debby, the owner was amazing to work with and very responsive both before and during our stay and even greeted us when we arrived with a tour of the property. If I could give this property more stars, I would. We had an amazing vacation and made memories to last a lifetime! ##### Beth R. The house is situated over three floors with outdoor deck area on each floor. There were some nails in decking that were a bit sharp and a little splintering on decking, but nothing that caused problems for us, could on a little tike though. The house was great,well maintained yet casual enough to be comfortable. We felt it was kept very clean and the bedding was very clean. The carpet is cream, so you see minor wear and tear, but it is the beach so who cares. In general there was plenty of kitchen space and pots, pans, dishes, utensils etc to make meals and eat easily. Handrails on stairs were sturdy if anyone has an issue. Bathrooms were good, showers were nice (loved the outdoor shower!) We will likely return to the property unless we grow in number. The house was big enough for our group of 8\. Would have been nice to have a 4th bathroom but we made due with 3\. There were plenty of beach chairs in the garage for our use and boogie boards for the kids. Plenty of parking space which made things easier. The views were fabulous and the home was cheerful, very comfortable and well equipped! The owner was a pleasure to work with from booking to recommendations within the area.
