Pros: Room was clean and the breakfast was very nice
Cons: Maybe you could hire more help
Location: that was good
The one issue was not being able to check in before 4:30. The rooms were not ready. Had to ask for cups and a bath mat. Everything else was good.

Pros: Hotel was close to final destination
Location: Pizza Hut/Morehead City: an hour to deliver your cold, soggy pizza... primarily because the driver will go 5.5 miles across the bridge to At. Beach
Be sure to pay the $50 'incidental fee' in cash, use your card and even though its out of your account that day, it takes 3 days to get the money back

Friendly staff, but bugs in the bathroom

Pros: The staff and the bed comfort
Cons: Bugs in the bathroom, hearing our neighbors
Location: The location was about a 5 minute drive from the beach and a 10 minute drive from delicious food.
Upon arriving at our hotel, we were pleased with the friendliness of the staff and we thought our room had everything we needed. However, we began to notice that there were bugs in our bathroom. We killed 15-20 flies during our stay and even had to deal with baby flies that were on our towels. It was not very pleasant.

It's Hampton Inn!

You always know what you're getting at Hampton Inn - quality, friendly staff, clean, well-maintained, hot breakfast. We have never stayed at a Hampton Inn that was sub par and this hotel was no exception. While the hotel is currently undergoing renovations, it was absolutely of no inconvenience and we heard nothing in our room (and we were on the same side as the renovations. This hotel is nice, inexpensive, and within three miles of a nice public access area to Atlantic Beach. I would definitely stay here again!

Good property but being renovated

Pros: Good locatio, nice rooms, good breakfast
Cons: Stop work when you say you are. Disclose renovations when making reservations. Don't put people in rooms with cranes right outside their windows.
Good property with a good view, if your room faces the water...ours didn't. Our faced two basket cranes that were being used to renovate the exterior and had people on them banging on the wall to 5:45PM, even though they were supposed to stop by 5:00PM. Nothing was ever disclosed during the reservation process this hotel was being renovated. This is supposed to go on until mid-May according to the letter left in the rooms. Inside is fine, just annoying to have the motors on cranes running and the things beeping right outside your window and then not stopping when they were supposed to.

Room was getting a little tired.

Nice hotel, conveniently located to good restaurants and the Joslyn Center in Morehead City. We were in room 236 which was sort of a suite. Main room was approximately 11x22 (which includes the bathroom in one corner, and had a sleep sofa and a desk. The bedroom with a king bed was about 12 x 12. Hampton Inn needs to re-think their pillows. The pillows on the bed were half sized of a normal pillow (square) and were way too soft. There were only 4 of these tiny pillows on the king sized bed. The room was quiet. The lobby was open and spacious with a view of the Boque Sound and the Atlantic Beach in the distance. The check-in clerk was very friendly and check-in was quick. There was coffee in the morning in the lobby. Checkout in the morning was easy and the front desk clerk was very friendly.

Good stay! 4 girls in this size room was fair. Room is more suited to 2 people, due to size. Exterior security was fair, as stairwell opens to non-secure outdoors and not locked into hotel. Otherwise, this hotel was excellent.
