Located in gorgeous Pine Knoll Shores, Beachwalk is right across the street from the Aquarium and the Roosevelt Natural area. Pirate's Hideaway is located on the first floor (no stairs to climb) making it a breeze to unload and easier to access for our more seasoned guests. As you enter, you will be drawn to the stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean. The outdoor space spans the entire width of the unit, allowing access from the living room as well as a private entrance to the master bedroom. You will enjoy oceanfront views and hear the waves crashing on the shore from your spacious private deck or from the beach inspired open-concept living room and kitchen. From the deck take a very short stroll (30 paces Matey!) along a wooden walkway to the beach. The pool is located next to the unit so you can watch your kids play and call them in for dinner without ever leaving your back deck. After you gather for cocktails at the gazebo watching the sunset, relax in the oceanfront king master suite complete with it's own adjoining bathroom (remodeled 2022) or in one of the other two bedrooms both with their own bathrooms (both newly tiled and one with a new tub 2021). The condo also features a sleeper sofa ensuring everyone has sufficient space to spread out and accommodates 8 people comfortably. The unit is fully outfitted to ensure your comfort and reduce your need to over pack. Items include traditional coffee maker, Keurig, blender, 4 slice toaster, cookware, etc. There is also a bar area with beverage refrigerator, a full size washer and dryer and deck furniture. Linens are included with your rental (sheets and towels) as well as a pack-n-play, booster seat, games and puzzles. We also have a few beach chairs, umbrella, and floats for your convenience. Convenience was great. It was very nice to avoid the elevators with ground floor access. The unit is literally right next to the pool, has a boardwalk that comes right off the porch and leads to the ocean, and has upgraded bathrooms and kitchen. The overall cleanliness was noticeable. We felt at home. Communication with the owner was great before and during our trip. We had one very minor issue and contacted the owner. It was nothing that negatively impacted our experience, but I wanted to bring it to their attention. I explained that It wasn’t a big deal, however the owners had a maintenance man out within the hour and it was resolved. Wonderful service. The beach here is great! Blue/green water was nicer than other places on the Atlantic Ocean we’ve visited and there was a constant breeze that felt fabulous. We slept in a few days and didn’t make it out to the beach until like 10:30 am. This area isn’t highly populated so there was still plenty of space available to set up our tent. There may have been 8 or 10 families out there at any given time. Overall, we would definitely stay here again. We usually vacation down at the Gulf of Mexico, but this may be our new spot. Something about this property and this stretch of coast just felt wonderful. Thank you so much for making your property available to us. We just may have to return next year! ##### Matthew S. There aren’t enough words to describe how much my parents and I loved staying here. Pictures don’t do it justice. It was so easy to get settled and get out to the beach. We booked this condo for my mother’s 75th B-Day and had a fantastic time! It is incredibly well-appointed. The owners are what you hope all VRBO owners are like. The easy access to the beach was incredible. There are a number of daily excursions (Morehead City, Aquarium, Emerald Island) that are just a short drive away. Located as close to the beach and pool as you can get. It is a walk-out on the first floor so no need to use the elevator. The beach is a mere 50 paces from the unit. You will want to bring your own favorite beach supplies (chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, and sand toys, etc.), but there were many of these items also stored on the deck of the unit if you forgot or don't have something. We traveled from Ohio with adult children and their friends, and we couldn't have been happier.
