Beach Front Condo With Wonderful Ocean View

Beautiful oceanfront, top floor, 3 bedroom, 1,100 square foot condo at the Ocean Club Resort. Check in and departure is very easy from our keypad entry door - no stopping to pickup or drop off keys. There is a master bedroom with a king size bed, along with a master bath that includes a shower and garden tub. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and the third bedroom has two twin beds. All three bedrooms have a flat screen tv. A queen size sleeper sofa is also located in the living room.

The unit includes a washer and dryer, and the kitchen is fully stocked (including a Keurig coffee maker). You can eat at the dining room table and enjoy the beautiful ocean view, or sip coffee on the balcony early in the morning while watching the gorgeous sunrise. The living room seats 7 people and includes a large TV, a desk with wireless internet and DVD player. The balcony over looks a heated swimming pool, jacuzzi and baby pool.

Within a 15 minute drive, there are grocery stores, movie theaters, shopping, restaurants, putt-putt golf, an aquarium and water park. Spend time in Beaufort on the waterfront - watching the beautiful sailboats come in or visiting the shops along the water. You can take a ferry over to Shackleford Island and see the wild horses, or take another ferry to visit the light house. There are gas grills on the grounds and covered parking. Enjoy Sweet Spot for ice cream in Emerald Isle and take a stroll down the pier.

Best location for wedding!

We were attending relatives’ wedding at Merrill Estates across the main drag and we just walked there. Great location to pool and beach! And Breathtaking views. And we much appreciated the elevator.

Grand daughter get away

This property worked perfectly for us. Clean, well appointed, functional and a great location on Emerald Isle. A beautiful place for a family stay, right on the beach with a pool too. Convenient to great restaurants and shops. Will return next year. Thought the master was listed with a king bed, but has a double. Was not a problem.

Sunny Week at the beach.

We were at this condo last week and we stayed there last year in August so 2 years in a row here. This year's trip was just as glorious as last year's. We noticed a few nice improvements in the condo. We tend to have activities on both ends of the island, so this condo's central location is a great advantage. The big deck was my favorite place to sit, and the wicker chair in the living room was my second favorite. Both gave great ocean views. We even saw dolphins swim by a couple days. We cooked in most nights, and the kitchen had all the stuff we needed. We'd love to visit again next year and make it 3 years in a row.

Excellent Property

Great stay! This is one of the best and nicest units we’ve ever stayed at. Nicely decorated, overall very clean, and loved the spacious living and dining area. Parking was super convenient. Was quiet for renting in July and we loved being directly on the beach. The entire condominium property is one of the cleanest and best maintained, as well. It’s also the only beachfront property we’ve ever stayed at that didn’t have a musty beach smell or a humidity problem in the unit. The air conditioning worked excellently and we were very comfortable, amid storms during the week and extremely high temperatures. If you’re looking for convenience to restaurants and shopping, this is much more private, but grocery stores, activities and more restaurants are about a 15 minute drive in either direction. The only challenges we encountered were the dryer and dishwasher not working properly, not having enough towels and very flat pillows. When we arrived, there was only one towel, per person for the week. We notified the owners immediately about concerns and they were very responsive and friendly. They had additional towels sent by the next day and were working to get a repair person to the unit for the the other issues. Unfortunately because the VRBO app doesn’t work consistently, some of our communication has been delayed. Having a number would help. We made it all work and still had a wonderful time. Between the owners and the condo, for us, it was still a 5 star stay.

Out to get a break

When we arrived found no place to park under building “ c “ which we accepted because this was explained in our agreement. However three of the five days we found four different vehicles parked under our building without a parking permit and several parking areas under our building with only one car parked and blocking anybody else to park ! This was not only stressful but contrary to what the information about parking shared ! I talked to an employee about it and he told me that he could do nothing about it because he did not have that as part of his responsibilities ! The condo was very nice and clean and the location was very nice ! The television in the living room did not work, and three of the four beds were very uncomfortable and should have been replaced several years ago ! In spite of the issues described we still had a nice family time ! Not sure if we would go back .

It’s a nice place, but…

Let me start off by saying Kathy was very responsive, answering questions and calls very quickly. Overall, the house didn't feel very clean. There was one kitchen towel for a week long stay. Bath towels were not plentiful. In order to get hot water in the main shower the sink hot water had to be turned on first. It took a bit to figure this out. Three days into our stay maintenance told us not to use the master bath or shower as it was leaking into the condo below us. The owner arranged for a plumber who came the next day but didn’t make repairs. The master toilet also had trouble flushing so we stopped using it too. The owner indicated replacing it was on their to-do list. It made things rather difficult with one usable bathroom and 8 people in the condo. While the owner was quick to apologize, there was no offer to discount the stay which was disappointing. Parking under the building is on a first come first served basis, everyone else has to park by the office or down the parking lot. I imagine during busy June and July parking could be difficult. The check in process was easy enough although the staff was unfriendly, both at the pool and checking in. The pool gates were locked with a chain and you could only use it when there was an attendant. On Sunday the pool opened for 2 hours the entire day because an attendant wasn’t available. The pool was open 9-5 due to covid and closed for an hour twice a day for cleaning. We watched them from the balcony close the pool and then never clean it. There were no chairs out and only 2 umbrellas. It was very aggravating. Instead of doing landscaping maintenance during closed hours, they instead did it during limited open hours. The kiddie pool and hot tub never opened. I understand the owner has no control over management decisions concerning pool availability, but none of this was communicated to us while we were still able to cancel the reservation. We were very disappointed as we had 2 small children and an oxygen dependent elder unable to access the beach. We were unable to lock the door at the end of our stay as the keypad lock wasn’t working. Overall the condo was a bit disappointing. We would have never rented a place with one bathroom, especially for $2,500 a week. For that price we expected a bit more.

Wonderful Vacation in Ocean Club

This is our fifth year in Ocean Club. We love the amenities, and the proximity to the ocean can’t be beat. Owners were very response to my requests and questions.

Fantastic Location

This condo was absolutely perfect for our family of mixed ages! The view from the balcony is incredible and the condo is convenient to the beach access, pool, and the elevator. The community is quiet, clean, and everyone we met was very friendly. Restaurants are close by and the provided lenins were some of the nicest I've ever had in a rental. Highly recommend!
