"Although near to motorway, feels quite remote, along a bumpy road. Staff very helpful and accommodating. Good breakfast and dinner. Dog friendly. Red squirrel area a few minutes walk away. Bar area was a little characterless, but otherwise a comfortable hotel. "

"Handy location for lakes all destinations with in 60 mins .Every thing you could wish for in apartment.
Certainly recommend and stay here again.
All staff very friendly and helpful ."
"Absolutely stunning views from the room. The staff were amazing and went above and beyond to accommodate a different room for my 1 year old son. I was given a room with a 4 poster bed and requested one without this. The manager showed me 3 different rooms one of which was a family room (even though I only booked a double room) just to cater to my request. She was patient and allowed me to choose a room I ended up going with the original room given to me as the views were beautiful and not once was she annoyed. She was patient and asked for housekeeping to attend and do up the sofa bed. Overall staff were lovely. This was a last minute stay and I would definitely return and recommend to friends and family "

"Loved it really comfy bed, lovely breakfast and really helpful staff who even arranged some sandwiches and chips after the bar food service had finished. Will definitely stay again when we are up visiting family or heading to Blackpool. We went to Brockhole which is well worth a visit if you stay! "
