Lovely place to stay. Very comfortable villa set in the rainforest. Lots of little touches - cookies, flowers, chocolate. Very quiet and relaxing. Great location for walks around Lake Baroon. Very welcoming.

It was the perfect getaway for myself and my husband. We spent the wet weekend away, nestled in a stunning cabin in the middle of the rainforest. Our kind hosts ensured we had absolutely everything we need with a beautiful breakfast hamper (with local produce) coffee & fresh warm croissants delivered each morning.
The beds were incredible comfortable and it was just the perfect setting to fall asleep to the in! The cabins are only 2 mins from the heart of Montville, making it easy to pop in to do some quick shopping. Would Highly recommend Narrows to anyone who’s looking for a getaway!

Idyllic location, in one of their private cabins in the rainforest. Comfortable & spacious, with wood fire, spa bath, & kitchen. Made extra special by all the personal touches provided by the hosts - inc complimentary breakfast hamper, daily fresh baked croissants, robes, & homecooked meals (extra)
A very wonderful 3 nights in a very special place. No noise or disturbances just the sounds of nature. The owners have added lots of special touches to make your stay as relaxing and stress free as possible. Would definitely stay again.

This is our third stay at the Narrows! We stayed at the Wagtail pavilion, the big hot tub in the lounge area near the fire pit is always something I look forward to in my stay. The breakfast hamper is so generous and the you can borrow movies and games from the reception. I haven’t tried the saltwater pool since it was quite cold when we were there so I couldn’t comment on that. The hot water stopped on our check out day but the management was very helpful at trying to fix it.
Would definitely stay again. :)

Beautiful location and helpful understanding staff
Staff were welcoming and the Pavillion was beautiful. We had a problem with hot water during our stay and due to circumstances it was unable to be fixed during our stay however the staff were very apologetic and allowed us the use of another Pavillion to shower after checkout. We were also compensated fairly for the inconvenience.

From the moment you turn down narrows road and into the narrows escape driveway, it's very quiet and peaceful, The New owners are doing a great job, the complimentary croissants are lovely, we had a few friendly breakfast wildlife visitors. Room has a nice layout for a romantic escape, we did have a few issues because we were pregnant with the low lounge, but the owner did offer on 2nd night to bring another chair for us. overall we enjoyed our stay.
Beautiful spot to relax and get away from busy life with the rainforest surrounding you and a running creek below to listen to. The owners were friendly and obliging and go out of their way to ensure you have everything you need. The breakfast basket was very generous and the hot croissants in the morning were a great touch. We'll be back.
The service and attention to detail are impeccable.
We arrived to fresh flowers and gift basket. The breakfast hamper is amazing -- and if anything needs to be replenished just ask. Did I mention the fresh croissants? OMG.
After experiencing the breakfast hamper, we ordered the dinner hamper. It was amazing. The food was excellent and more than enough for 2 meals. And those desserts, well, so much for any pretense of a diet...
This is an amazing place. We will return. Mark and Joanne really know how to spoil guests.
Loved the friendly staff and homey touches. The huge breakfast basket and wonderful warm croissants each morning were awesome. Found it to be a convenient location as well. Liked having a laundry available since we dirtied quite a few clothes with our outdoor activities.
Such a beautiful, comfortable space. The Whip Bird lodging was a perfect blend of cozy and luxury with an incredible view of the small brook out front. Being so immersed into nature was incredibly relaxing and recharging all at once.

Beautiful rain forest cabin retreat. Staff were friendly and helpful and the cabin was clean and well appointed. Amazing bathroom with spa bath and massive breakfast hamper was included. Loved the owners dog who followed us around and greeted us in the morning :) would definitely stay again, one night wasn't enough!

Simply one of the best places we have stayed at! Beautifully furnished pavilions nestled in the rainforest. Nothing was to much trouble for the owners and everything had been thought about. So peaceful being surrounded by nature.
A must for anyone staying in the area.

We spent 4 lovely nights at Narrows and didn't want to leave. You are generously provided with plenty of food and drink so that you don't even need to go into town. The cabin was clean and comfortable. A perfect location to feel completely removed from the stresses of every day life.

An amazing two nights spent here. Idyllic luxury cabin in the Queensland Tropical Rainforest.
The breakfast hamper on arrival was fantastic. The complimentary port, cheese and chocolates were a great touch. The freshly baked croissants that were delivered every morning were also perfect. We also ordered a BBQ hamper - this was also great value for money. DVDs for hire or a hammock to laze in. Bliss! We would love to return.

Dear Stefan,
Thank you for your wonderful review, we are delighted that you had such a great time. If you get the chance, we would love to have you visit again.
Beautiful place, very romantic, lots of wildlife, best croissants I have ever had every morning. We stayed 3 nights which I think is a bit too long because it is so far away from everything and the restaurants around are expensive... two nights would be great.
The cottage was so quiet and isolated but had everything you could want for a romantic getaway including a double spa and shower. The extra touches provided were the most impressive -- candles and beautiful toiletries the cheese platter on arrival, the free port for after dinner and the included breakfast basket including eggs, bacon, fruit, yoghurt and more and the freshly delivered croissants, totally awesome. The privacy and the fireplace was exactly what we needed to get away. The hosts were very friendly and the little visit from Layla the dog was nice.Although it may be considered a little pricey I cannot say enough good things. Will definitely going back and will be recommending to everyone.
Wonderful personal touches
Like warm croissants delivered to your door each morning
Amazing bird variety to watch on property
Very warm and friendly hosts at hotel
Relaxing stay
Service and location was superb, nothing was too much and after a long hike in the rainforest a great massage on your balcony was availed. Dollar for dollar the best value in Australia so far.
By far the best place my partner and I have stayed. They truely give you the whole experience of a luxury retreat. From the fresh baked croissants 8am on the dot every morning to the beautiful creek thats front and centre of the cabins to the beautiful birds that welcomed you every morning. Worth every minute.
Chosen as a one night stop on the way north because it looked like a nice change from the usual. This is an enchanting place to stay and worth 2 nights+... totally relaxing, take some food and drinks, and chill with your partner.
