I booked this vacation based on the photos of the hot tub and backyard view and we were not disappointed! The house is clean and cozy and we all had our favorite spots to really relax. There is not much to do in the area and only a few places to eat close by, but we came well equipped with food and did get out a few days to check out Colonial Beach and Coles Point. You have to check out Picking and Grinning on Kings Highway. It’s a quirky antique oddities store with amazing stuff. My husband and I hosted our daughter, her husband and 18 month old for a long weekend retreat. The house was just right with a gorgeous 60 ft long comfortable sunroom where we spent most of the time. There were 2 large tvs and the house had great internet. We ate several meals in and the kitchen is well supplied. Enjoyed other meals at Relish in Warsaw and Angelo’s in Montross. We had interesting outings to Washington’s Birhplace and Stratford Hall Plantation. It was a wonderful place to spend a special weekend with our family. ##### Betty R. We had a fabulous and relaxing week at Frank's place. The house, the view, the private beach, and the wildlife were incredible. The home was perfect for our two families of 4\. It had everything we needed to have a relaxing and enjoyable week on the water. The kayaks and paddle boards were provided and much appreciated. The kids just had a blast and none of us wanted to leave. We had a couple of small issues and Frank took care of them right away. The communication was great since day one.
