These are our buzzwords, and they come together seamlessly in this perfectly located downtown flat. Whether you're cooking up a storm in the newly renovated kitchen, or relaxing on the hand-crafted Murphy bed (with its top quality Leesa mattress), we can guarantee you'll love this space! :\] This awesome crash pad perfectly reflects what we love most about Montreal - its artistic, welcoming vibe. From our crazy cool mural to the unique flooring pattern and hand-crafted wood furniture, we let our creativity run wild in this space! And as for the necessities? We went a cut above there too. We've installed USB plug outlets, an AC with Danby silencer technology, and a super HD TV (with Netflix, of course). We might only be 10 minutes from some of Montreal's coolest hang-out spots, but you might just find yourself unwilling to leave this sleek little oasis. You will have exclusive access to the entire apartment, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the comfort and convenience it offers. Feel free to make yourself at home and unwind in the cozy living area and bedroom. Additionally, we have thoughtfully provided a small workspace for any work-related tasks you may need to tackle during your stay. Stay connected with our high-speed internet, and when it's time to relax, enjoy streaming your favorite shows and movies on Netflix and Disney+ right from the TV. So go ahead, put your feet up, stay a while, and make the most of your time in our welcoming apartment. Covid-19 Announcement Et Vous Guests & Partners Your health and wellbeing are our top priority. We wanted to share with you the steps we are taking to keep all of our guests and employees safe during these uncertain times. We also want to assure our guests that we are maintaining our existing high standards of cleanliness and we have provided additional training to our cleaning partners about proper disinfection techniques by a registered nurse. Between each set of guests: all surfaces in our spaces are treated with a powerful disinfectant prior to undergoing a deep clean. We’re asking any Et Vous employee or partner who feels ill to stay home at this time. All of our spaces have keyless or lockbox entry which limits personal interaction during your stay. We are also extending a 15% discount to anyone who stays longer than 14 days and a 20% discount to anyone who stays longer than 28 days. Our spaces have plenty of room to work or hold small meetings with your team. We can set up any and all of our spaces to improve working remotely by adding ethernet connections, office desks, etc. Just let us know what you specific needs are and we will make sure they are met. An update to our cancellation policy: We’ve increased flexibility for all reservations made through us directly, or through Airbnb. All our listings now have a moderate cancellation policy which allows our guests to cancel free of charge up to 5 days before their arrival date. We will issue Et Vous credits for the full value of the remaining booking amount for any cancellation which is not automatically refunded in full by Airbnb. Credits can be used towards future reservations and are valid for one year from the time of cancellation. We’re actively monitoring the situation and following the guidance of the World Health Organization, Provincial and Federal regulations, and the U.S. Center for Disease Control & Prevention. Located on Sherbrooke, we're triangulated perfectly between the Plateau, Old Port, and Crescent street (where you'll find the Musee de Beaux Arts, as well as some of the coolest terraces in the city). We have so many restaurant recommendations ready for you that we can guarantee you'll be planning your second trip to Montreal before you finish your first! We're 5 minutes away from the nearest metro station (Place des Arts), 2 from the nearest bus station (where the 24 bus will take you east to west, and the 55 north to south), 30 seconds from the nearest microbrewery (Benelux), and 5 minutes from St Laurent (where you'll find a whole street of great restaurants and bars.) It doesn't get better than that! Please take note of the following information regarding additional sleeping options: We are more than happy to accommodate your request for extra linens and supplies to cater to additional guests or individuals who prefer not to share the same bed. However, kindly note that we can only provide these upon request or if your reservation is booked for three or more individuals. SAFETY FIRST: If you notice anything that presents a danger that could result in damage to the location or to any individuals, let us know immediately. Genuinely, your safety is our primary concern. 2\. BE RESPECTFUL: Please treat the place as though it were yours. Or better yet, treat it as if you were staying at a dear old aunt's home. An aunt with exceptional taste that is. Please don't use the towels to remove makeup. Please understand that we are not a hotel and damaged furniture and home goods are a major issue for us. 3\. COMMUNICATE ANY ISSUES: That being said, accidents do happen, so please, if there ever is a problem just let us know. Most of the time it's not a big deal and, at the very least, we'll be able to start figuring out any logistics before the arrival of the next guests. And that's always a huge help for us. 4\. NO SMOKING: Obviously, no smoking under any circumstances. And for the record, leaning your head out the window does not count as being outside - the smell always lingers. We've had issues with this before, and as such, breaking this rule will incur a $300 fine. Hope you understand! 5\. TEMPERATURE CONTROL: Recognize that while the AC can be controlled from in the unit (from May – September), the building has central heating. If you need the temperature adjusted, please ask us and we will do our best to make sure you are comfortable. To that end, there is usually a portable heaters & fan in each flat! 6\. NO PARTIES: Be considerate of the neighbors - parties or excessive noise are not allowed. This is a residential building where families and residents live and work. So, please respect the building’s quiet hours which are in the building are from 9PM – 8AM. We’re very strict about this: there is a decibel monitor in the space which will notify us of any excessively sustained loud noises during those times. 7\. HEADS UP: Usually, a 24-hours notice is required in order to set up a unit for more than 2 guests, to set up an additional bed, or to set up a play-pen as these items are not stored on-site. That said, we will always try to go above and beyond to make you as comfortable as possible! 8\. SECURITY: Please recognize and accept that we have cameras at the entry of the property. This is for yours and our security purposes. There are ABSOLUTELY NO CAMERAS or recording devices within the apartment itself! 9\. MONTREAL GUESTS: Due to many many issues in the past, we very rarely accept guests from Montreal or the Montreal region. This includes, but is not limited to West-Island, Laval, Vaudreuil, Terrebonne, Longeuil, Ile-Perot etc. If your home address is within a 75 km radius from our property, and/or if your area code is either 514 or 438, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation at any time without cancellation penalties to the host. A note regarding above: You’re dealing with real people. We’re super reasonable, and if you happen to need a place to stay for whatever reason, we’re happy to help! But we need to feel comfortable with the reservation: So, don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you’re from Montreal and there are extenuating circumstances that make you want to stay with us. 10\. EXTRA GUESTS: Under no circumstances are guests allowed to bring additional people to the property that were not originally listed on the reservation. This is such a gem of an apartment! Great location and lovely decor. However there is a need for some maintenance- cold air comes into the room through the radiator, water fixtures are falling apart a little bit, etc… nothing a little repair can’t fix! ##### Lily S. This spot ticks all the boxes and I know I'll be back. Clean and updated, close to the subway and buslines as well as being in a walkable area. I walked McGill campus, hung out in the underground city, walked to art galleries and exhibits, and subwayed around with my daughter eating Salvadoran food and digging around in used bookstores. Felt a little rough and had a lot homelessness, but that might be more of the city itself. The room was nice, to rest my head. Bad view of an alley, but good kitchen essentials and smart use of a small space. Bathroom was alright. Loose floorboards and tiles here and there, and the building smelled like cigarettes (the room smelled perfectly fine though!) smaller unit best shared between 2-3 people max, wouldn’t recommend for anyone travelling with a larger family or small children. Not much parking space, we ubered and wouldn’t recommend renting a car anyways. Great food and shopping options nearby, including a convenience store attached to the building and a pizza shop, and close to bus stops that can take you into old Montreal or to any metro station. Bars and clubs also within a 10-15 minute walking radius. Host was wonderful, easy and fast communication, provided us with extra blankets and even a extra futon upon request! It's in such an ideal location close to food, bars, and awesome street art and architecture. Only a twenty minute walk to the village it was such a perfect spot.
