Pleasant if you're a tourist

Pros: Restaurant buffet and friendly restaurant staff. I liked that there was a grocery and drug store nearby. Close to Metro.
Cons: Hotel is looking very tired. Could use an update.
Location: Close to Metro (Barrie UQAM): Lovely pedestrian walk-way where streets are closed. Lots of restaurants, drugstore and grocery close by.
I stayed at this Hotel for 5 days visiting for business reasons. Front desk staff not friendly nor welcoming and someone who traveler that expects this as it gives one an impression of the Hotel. Restaurant staff compensated for this - they were absolutely fantastic, and what a great way to start the day. The buffet was good start to the day and was included in the price of the room. The room was large but like the rest of the Hotel, a little tired looking and in need of a refresh. The room was clean and had a great view. The mattress, like the room, needs to be replaced. I use the pool when I travel and but it didn't open till 7 and for some travelling for business, this is late. This Hotel is located in an interesting part of Montreal. Its spoiled for restaurants and a pedestrian closed street. It is close to the Montreal Metro (subway) on the Orange line making it so easy to get around. There is a grocery store and drug store located in the underground. You don't really need to go outside if you travel during the winter and wet weather. Essentially, this Hotel was okay. There are better Hotels but this place is clean and okay if you just need a place to lay your head. Its no frills and convienient.

Mediocre hotel nothing more

They were in considerate, I am 20 years old and I asked information about then city to the concierge and he barely spoke and cared about our presence. Clearest he had other stuff in mind. Rooms were clean, but bathroom were outdated plus the toilet seat was broken... hotel is downtown but in the stechy part of town.

Pros: Réaction rapide et efficace lors de la découverte des punaises de lit
Cons: Meilleure désinfection pour éviter/contrôler le problème de punaises.
Location: Central. Excellent.
Après 24 heures de séjour, nous avons trouvé des punaises de lit dans la chambre. De plus, le personnel à la réception était hautement désagréable, impoli et manquait de jugement. Par contre, le gérant de l'hôtel a été formidable pour la gestion du problème de punaises.

Don't expect anything above the bare minimum from this hotel. The check in staff were there to do a job, don't expect any smiles, check in took longer than usual, but not sure why, since there really were no communication involved. Room was pretty tired looking, tv remote did not work, there was an hour wait between a call down to reception/housekeeping to us having to call back to check on the status, another 15 min wait for housekeeping to come in, promptly telling us there was nothing she could do as she didn't have any batteries and will have someone else come. The service at this establishment is simply disappointing.

Moisiture dans la salle de bain, lit mal fait, mobilier sale et magané... Il y avant beaucoup de bruit dans la chambre... Jai vraiment été deçu de mon sejour a cet hotel.

The air conditioner did not work. After some pursuasion they changed us to another room - but it wasn't easy.
