Excellent staff. Fun people!!!! Very close to the Old Montreal and great Restaurants.

Despite the room being a little cold, it was nice. Would definitely return. It's very close to the bus station.

STAFF ON STRIKE

Be aware that most of the staff of this hotel is on strike. It seems that the strike started before Christmas 2016 Very limited service. Bars and restaurants closed except for breakfast. No room service Housekeeping limited to exchange towels and remove trash. Picketers outside the main door every day Hotel should put a note on their website but nothing.

Hotel is in decline

Pros: Good location, and in the past maintenance was better
Cons: Upgrade the hotel and settle your labor dispute. We ( your guests) should not be affected because you cannot settle this.
Location: UQAM, 747 airport bus stop and the village are near
I have stayed here several times and have noticed that it needs updating, but the housekeeping staff did a good job and the location was convenient. This time the hotel was in a labor dispute with house,reaping and apparently they were locked out. Who ever was doing housekeeping was NOT keeping up. Moldy and cracked tiles in the bathroom, lights out in the room, carpets poor,ymsi tained and cleaned ( I found toenail clippings- not mine- yuck in my room). Beds when made, not done professionally. Also upon arrival I was to,d rooms would only receive basic service daily- change towels dump trash and replace soap etc. First of all- that should result In some kind of compensation by itself. But even this basic promised service did not come until I called at 4 pm or later on my third day. Finally when I spoke with the front desk, they agreed to "upgrade" the room. However all they did was put me on a higher floor with some of the same issues. Since I had already paid for an upgraded room, they should have put me in concierge as perhaps those le else might be taken care of better???

easy access

Comfy beds, easy to get around city, nice location. Bathroom disfunctional...too small

Nice hotel, close to everything we needed

Pros: Location! comfort of the beds and pillows
Cons: The rooms could use an update, wallpaper and furniture makes it very dated
We stayed here based on proximity to where we were going during our stay, the location was perfect and the beds were comfortable.

Decent accommodation in the mid-price range

Pros: I like that there was a food court, grocery store and pharmacy at the base of the hotel. We were able to get anything we needed without going far.
Cons: The room was drab and bed covers were lumpy. The fitness room water cooler was empty and fitness equipment wasn't maintained.
Location: It was located in a fairly depressed area. McDonalds was across the road but beggars came in to ask for money as we ate.
This hotel was located where we needed to be and offered underground parking (which was needed for the area). The hotel was experiencing a strike so there were picketers outside which was not a comforting sight. The room was freezing when we entered and it took most of the night to get the room to a decent temperature. Towels were replaced daily but no other cleaning (bed making) was done.

I've stayed in this hotel many times and it was worthy of its four-start rating. The labor work action causes a suspension of food and beverage with the exception of a buffet breakfast and provided only very basic room housekeeping services. They made up for it with a very attractive room rate and I intend to stay there in the future.
