The carpets were so stained in my room. I didn't even want to walk on the carpet with bare feet. Don't even think a sour the Gym either. It's pretty gross.

Very satisfied overall

Posted 18-Oct-2016
Location: There is a great speak easy near by. Rue Saint Denis is within walking distance which is lined with bars and restaurants to fit everyone's needs.
The hotel was quite nice. Everything was very clean. The staff was so pleasant. The rooms were slightly outdated but that does not take away from the comfort of the bedding and the cleanliness of the rooms were excellent. Perfect location. The boutique shops were super convenient. The banks are close by, it's near to nightlife, public transportation including buses, metro, and rental bicycles.

Pros: Decent location and clean lobby and room.
Cons: It took too long to check in. We stood in a line for at least 15 - 20 min while the staff struggled to check out a few customers.
Location: hotel is connected to many amenities and easily accessible.
Room was clean and decent. Bathroom was dated and in need of renovation.

Great place and a good location!

Posted 18-Oct-2016
Location: The area was on the edge of both the old & new Montreal downtown. It was a short walk to the subway system as well as great resturants and shopping
We had a wonderful view of the skyline and at night it was spectacular! The room was pleasant. It smelled clean and the bed linen was crisp and clean. All facilities worked well. We purchased the breakfast buffet at the hotel for a discounted price. The Buffet was ok and had all the basics for an american style buffet. We arrived early after being off-boarded from a Cruise. The hotel staff were helpful and allowed us to leave our bags in their storage area until we returned from touring Montreal. The next day we asked them to help us arrange a taxi to the airport which they did willingly and the Taxi was 15 min early which made the trip to the airport stress-free! I would return to this hotel and recommend it to others.

Terrible hotel, old rooms, dirty, heating broken

Posted 11-Oct-2016
Location: Hotel is located in guy community. Drunk and homeless people outside. 20 minutes to OLD PORT in Montreal.
I do not recommend this hotel. It is old, really old. dirty rooms, staff does not speak English very well. Noise elevators. I guess the hotel gas double standard: old rooms for regular customers and better rooms for executive customers. Did not try restaurant. Grocery store adjacent to hotel is very nice. Parking is terrible, very small spaces and it was a challenge to park small SUV. Oh and the parking guy brought us to valet parking for no reason, other than extra money. Valet is far away from hotel. Around hotel there is guy community, a lot of drunk and people on high. Not too far to Old Port in Montreal, walking takes 20 minutes. I would not stay there again, would rather find another hotel. If I could rate it "zero" I would, except for hotel staff and concierge. They were very nice.
