Great staff, great hotel!

Pros: The multi-national staff was warm, engaging and took care of our every need.
Cons: The bathrooms need more hooks for towels and robes.
Location: You are in the middle of the action!
Exceptionally well-run hotel which anticipates your needs and surpasses your expectations. They couldn't have been nicer! The hotel is charming and full of surprises. I'd go back in a Montreal minute!

Unbelievable Staff

We were traveling with out two young adult children. The hotel is in a great location, the rooms large, clean, bright and well appointed. But the staff was outstanding! The concierge make excellent recommendations and reservations and even recommended a lunch place when I phoned in. The front desk was very pleasant and the door men were great. It's a very good hotel!

I've returned to Nelligan twice because it's my favorite hotel in Montreal.

Fantastic stay at Hotel Nelligan

First trip to Montreal for son's 18th birthday was PERFECT thanks to manager Denis and Hotel Nelligan. A "small problem" with the room we thought had been guaranteed resulted in a premium upgrade to a beautiful suite - Outstanding customer service, warm, friendly staff - A memorable weekend for all - we'll be back soon!

Pros: The location and the character.
Cons: The air conditioning/heating system was noisy at times.
Location: In the heart of Old Port in Montreal with great restaurants and lovely walks along the canal.
Second stay with this lovely hotel and did not disappoint. Spacious and well appointed room and bathroom; very comfortable bed.

Pros: Décor chaleureux et confortable, l'atrium est vraiment agréable.
Cons: Le déjeuner buffet était plutôt ordinaire tandis que les assiettes à la carte étaient beaucoup mieux.
Location: Situé à proximité de bons restaurants pour tous les goûts et tous les prix. Accès à pied aux divertissements du centre-ville.
Personnel accueillant, serviable. Il y avait un problème avec la chambre que nous avions réservé et on nous a offert une suite en compensation. Nous ne pouvions pas demandé mieux, la chambre était superbe.

Great location in old Montreal. Attentive and friendly staff. Beautiful room. Only gripe is that the water pressure in the shower was lacking.
