When we arrived the place looked clean enough. We were assigned rooms 306 and 307 in the annex building. While hanging out in room 307, we noticed a bed bug and took a picture of it. It was already late at night, about 10pm, and we went down to the lobby to let them know. We asked to be moved to the other building. The staff member agreed to move us but only to move us into one room. We were 4 people, a dog, and a baby, and we had paid for 2 rooms so that the baby could sleep well without being disturbed. We did not want to be moved to 1 room, and seeing as bed bugs travel from room to room, we did not want to stay in either of the rooms we paid for. We told him that if we could not be moved to two new rooms in the other building, we wanted our money back. The staff member refused and told us to call Orbitz. He also tried to say we were lying about the bug (since I had thrown it in the toilet and flushed it instead of keeping it). We ended up all sleeping on 1 single bed together in the other room.
The next day Orbitz was able to get us a refund and we left the hotel. I was disgusted by the treatment of the staff there and the fact that they had bed bugs.
