Hotel abordable, bien situé

Posted 10-Feb-2016

Location Location Location!

Posted 9-Feb-2016
Pros: Excellent location, good sleep system.
Cons: This hotel is NOT a three and a half star property. Thread-bare carpets, dated fixtures and furnishings, and traces of mold in the shower stall.
Location: The hotel is a couple blocks from St Denis at the corner of St Hubert and St Catherine. Lots of shopping, restaurants and clubs near-by.
This hotel is located on the eastern edge of downtown and is attached to a small urban shopping mall that includes a grocery store and liquor store. It is walking distance to many shops restaurants and bars along St Catherine Street. Super funky St Denis Street is a couple blocks away. Our room was on the 20th floor, and was clean with good beds and pillows. Do not pay for parking- plenty of surface spots and free after nine ( and overnight).

Great location

Posted 4-Feb-2016
Room: Need a carpet upgrade, otherwise it's comfortable. Great view of the city. Classic room has iron, drier and cofeemaker. Parking: Underground parking for under CAD 20 per day. A little tight though. SUV will be fine if roof rack is not high. Amenities: Indoor salted (and shallow) pool, sauna ang limited gym equipment. Convenience Factor: Excellent. The hotel is attached to a food court, grocery store, pharmacy, salon, etc. Across from the hotel is the metro that can take you to major points of the city like McGill mall, Old Montréal. Languages: Locals are generally bilinguals. They speak English and French. Be not afraid! Location: It's on St. Hubert street and St. Catherine corner. Latin Quarter is a happening place... expect people from all walks of life. I'd stay again if I have to be in that area of Montréal. Otherwise I still prefer the old part of the city.

Bon emplacement

Posted 30-Jan-2016
Pros: L'emplacement

Dated but comfortable, if price is right.

Posted 25-Jan-2016
Great location! Steps to Berri-UQAM subway station, hotel is connected to a grocery store and a food court in the same complex, super convenient! Room itself was quite dated, especially the carpet was a nightmare, bring slippers! Other than that, it was a comfortable sleep with a clean and comfortable bed.

Excellent proximity to metro, UQAM, shopping

Posted 13-Jan-2016
Hotel is relatively clean and very quiet. The only minor quibble is that cold air from the HVAC system blew across the bed (and room temperature is not controllable). But the bed was comfortable and the room spacious. Main shopping streets, Place des Arts, downtown are all easily walkable. UQAM and Bibliotèque Nationale are across the street (accessible from underground). And the Metro can be accessed without going outside (very useful on a cold winter's day!)
