Loved being near the St. Lawrence waterfront. Access to the hotel for check-in with luggage was a bit difficult and would have been easier if there was some accommodation for navigating the steps. We managed it; however, we are quite fit. We were dismayed to see a gentleman in a wheelchair and his dinner companion try to gracefully enter and exit. That said, this is definitely not a handicapped friendly property. We were there on a busy holiday weekend and the streets and nearby restaurants were quite crowded. The one elevator in this hotel is small and overused by patrons of the rooftop restaurant and bar. Our room was spacious, clean and had a lovely view of the harbor. The bath was clean, updated and modern. Would recommend this property if you want to stay in old town near the harbor and be able to walk to lively boulevard cafes, this is a great location.

Great location. Beautiful hotel, clean and well kept. Both restaurants were very good. I really liked the toiletries and the beautiful sleepers, chocolates and the wine. Valet parking guys were very nice and professional. Thank you!

Right in the heart of old Montreal. Was a little worried about noise, but close those windows and it’s SILENT! One elevator was a bit tricky, but the rest of our stay was absolutely wonderful. Beautiful property, beautiful rooms, beautiful area.

After the modest entrance we discovered a gem of a hotel! The food was so good that though staying two nights we had 5 meals there. The staff were friendly and helpful…. a great team with a good vibe. We would highly recommend. David and Bonnie

Thomas and Louise were exceptional as were all the staff. Dining options were varied and prepared above expectations. Room was a bit small and you may prefer lower floors ( we were under the rooftop terrace which generated understandable noise) but the ambiance overcame concern.

This hotel was located in a beautiful area of Old Montreal. It felt like a high end boutique hotel but we were amazed at how reasonable the price was. The staff was great and the room was very nicely decorated.

This was our first time staying at Auberge du Vieux-Port. I will first commend the staff- they were excellent! They were not only friendly, but extremely accommodating with all requests. The concierge was so helpful in setting up an appointment for the spa across the street. He even followed up with us after our treatments, remembering us by name. We also enjoyed the rooftop terrace for dinner, which was also excellent. The food and drinks were superb. Lastly, the atmosphere and decor of the hotel were lovely. Comfortable furnishings and bedding, beautiful bathrooms, and wonderful lobby which to relax in. We plan to return this summer!

Great and affordable valet service. Location could not be better for anyone who wants to stay central to all things "Old Montreal". Everything about this hotel is perfect. The moment we pulled up the valet Eve was so nice and attentive. And everyone at the hotel desk check in were friendly. Marguerite in the restaurant was so sweet and bubbly and helpful. Really made us feel special during our stay. The location you couldn’t ask for better and the restaurants were perfect for whatever mood. Only thing I would say they need is to put in room darkening shades of n the room. That would be it! Definitely will stay there again.

Great location with safe walking and easy access to the metro. Our rooms were so clean and comfortable. We ate breakfast in the hotel each morning and the quality and service was excellent.

If you're on the river side, with the view, two trains go by in the wee hours and there is some traffic noise. Not too bad with windows closed and view is worth it.

Rooms were very nice & clean. Food at Gaspar was just "okay". Had dinner & steak wasn't cooked right but didn't send it back because was with a group & it took so long to get the meal. Breakfast food was cold & service was slow even though it wasn't busy.

This property gets so many things right - beautiful space, warm reception, friendly staff, spacious and well appointed rooms, quality furnishings, excellent restaurants on premises, and even high quality toilet tissue in the bathrooms. Making things even greater was the hotels decision to open its rooftop area for guests to observe the solar eclipse. Perfect visit.

This hotel is so charming and comfortable, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Our room was extremely comfortable and we had a view of the river. Everything was just lovely.
