This Musée Fabre museum is considered to be one of the finest Fine Arts Museums in Europe – its ancient and modern architecture makes it quite exceptional and is 5 min walk. Kind of a student zone too so there is a nightclub which is a bit noisy weekend nights. But a pair of earplugs worked ok. Clean, modern with character. Bed very comfortable and the A/C was a blessing. If you have mobility issues the stairs will be difficult. Not just three floors but narrow and twisting. It is a short walk to many cafes and restaurants, with à Carrefour Exprès just a few blocks away. Thomas was great - he gave excellent advice on where to eat and shop, helped me get the best out of google maps and made himself easily available for queries etc throughout our stay. The apartment had everything we needed for a short stay, including efficient air conditioning which was essential while we were there. It is located on the 3rd floor and accessed by a stone spiral stairway which we, as oldies, found quite a challenge after a day out in the heat. However, we had the added bonus of ending our stay fitter than when we started! ##### William C.
