"Great location"
This hotel is located in a really nice area near Sacre Cour. It is easy to access the metro, and the staff are very friendly. The rooms are a little small, about usual for Paris.

Terrass'' Hotel Montmartre by MH

12-14 Rue Joseph de Maistre, Paris - Map
"Modern chic, great location "
Less than a 5 minute walk from Blanche Metro station and close to bus stop- buses that take you directly to Arc de Triomphe and trocadero. Bubbly neighbourhood with plenty of choice for cafes and restaurants. 10 minute walk to Sacrecoure. Rooms are clean, with a cosy modern feel. Plenty of rack space along with generous supply of hangers. Decent walk in shower (could use a couple more larger towels) and comfortable bed with huge pillows. The Terrass restaurant on the 7th floor is a must! Great food and an incredibly romantic view of Paris in the evening. Overall, great location, very clean, friendly staff and what you would expect from a 4 star room.

Libertel Montmartre Opéra

32 Rue Duperre, Paris - Map
"Well located modern hotel"
The hotel is located very close to a metro station and the moulin rouge. The staff are friendly and all spoke English well. Our room was very clean and the bathroom looked recently refurbished. The only downside was that we were located on the ground floor behind reception which meant that at times when there was talking or phones ringing in the reception area this could be heard in the room. There was also no view, just a door that opened onto a small patio area shared with another room. However this was not a major issue and I would definitely stay here again.

"Comfortable hotel with friendly staff"
Room and bathroom clean and comfortable. Neighborhood a little dodgy at night. Females travelling alone at night should be careful. Daylight is okay. 10-15 mins walk with luggage from Chateau Rouge or Anvers metro stop. Friendly and helpful staff. Lift small.

"Quiet hotel in the centre of the Pigalle/Montmatre"
Excellent welcome by English speaking receptionist (who we'd observed helping a previous couple with their bus/metro arrangements). Comfortable small room at the back of the hotel, well insulated from the noise and bustle of the centre of Paris. Good metro connections 500m away. Right in the heart of Pigalle (the non-seedy part!) and Montmatre with loads of restaurants nearby. Sacre Coeur 10 minutes walk away. Very impressed and would recommend this hotel

"This hotel is located in a mixed area."
We only spent 25 hours in Paris and that was good because the days after we left the terrible assaults took place. What a terrible thing. Or prayers are for those people dealing with this tragedy.

If there is one sight you absolutely can’t miss in Montmartre, it’s Sacre-Coeur.

This mammoth cathedral is located on the summit of the tallest peak in Paris and is a crowning achievement in architecture. The domes, pillars, and stairs are only part of the lovely sights awaiting you. Once you enter the church, you can admire the many historical art pieces. The mosaics alone are worth a look, but you don’t want to miss the sight of the grand organ. Created by famed designer Aristide Cavaille-Coll, it’s often called the greatest organ in Paris. While you’re here, visit the Crypt. This area of the church houses the tombs of cardinals as well as a monument dedicated to religious figures killed during the World Wars. If you’re feeling up to it, you can also climb 300 steps to the tallest dome for an unparalleled view of the city below. Following all the sightseeing at the church, visit the mellower local spots in town, too. Enjoy some French pastries at a neighbourhood café or walk into an art gallery and pick up some wares. The town is ripe for exploration.

When you’re ready to call it a night, head back to your hotel close to Sacre-Couer. Luckily, you don’t have to climb any hills to find the best discounts on rooms in the area. Book your hotel in Paris right here on to find the cheapest rates on inns and suites around. See the best of the city, without giving your wallet a hike.
