We all loved the house…plenty of historic charm with modern comforts in kitchen and bathrooms, and a gorgeous setting. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch to read, chat or drink coffee with the sound of the rushing creek in the background, and had fun playing horseshoes, pool, and exploring the creek. Had a terrific meal at the nearby Conover Club. Be aware there is one shower for the 4 bedrooms…truly not a problem from our perspective just required a little advance planning. Also use caution driving in the area…there are so many deer along the roads. Overall, highly recommended! ##### Catherine S. The property was perfect for all of us. The stream behind the house was beautiful. Be sure if you arrange transportation that the address is properly communicated because we had a hell of a time getting drivers to the correct address. Comfy beds and cold A/C.
