We were pleased with the newness and cleanliness of the property and room. Our complaint with the room was the heating/cooling system. We could not keep the room comfortable. The other complaint was the breakfast. Both mornings we came down to the coffee being empty , wee noticed ants on the food counter and the 2nd morning there were no clean dishes and no coffee. My suggested would be that one staff member is always out looking to replace and refill items. Maybe just not enough staff to handle it.

The room was perfect . The only thing that wasn’t the best was breakfast. We arrived 45 minutes before the end and there was not much left out. Otherwise everything was great! We arrived late after an event to check in. The front desk was courteous and helpful.

The whole hotel was unkept. Everything was old and ran down. Rugs throughout the hotel were dirty, there was blood stains on my rug, it looked fresh. Pool was broken for over a year or more.. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

This was by far the worst hotel I have every stayed in during my 45 years of travelling. EVERY SINGLE THING WAS BROKEN 1) TV in main dining room :: broken 2) Pool and Hot Tub :: broken 3) Front door :: broken 4) Laundry :: broken 5) Pantry :: empty

Generally was not well kept with outside locked doors often propped. Breakfast was late and not fully presented (ie utensils and food were missing). We were charged for parking without being told. When we asked for a receipt, we were refused, saying that Expedia would provide it. We found out about the parking charge only after getting our credit card bill.

I wanted to stay closer to my son and family so I had a choice of Hampton Inn or Staybridge Suites. There are many Hampton Inns in the area so I thought I’d try Staybridge. We recently moved away from the area, so when we return for appointments or whatever, we normally stay at Normandy Farm Hotel a few miles away and we pick up our 6 yr old granddaughter to come swim then take her out to dinner. This hotel advertised an info-or pool but after we got there, we found out the pool wasn’t open. She was quite disappointed. When we checked in, the room had a pretty bad odor, it was like a cheap cleaning product or deodorizer. The room was worn, paint was chipped, refrigerator was rusty and stained on themselves. The desk chair was arm wax broken, the fake leather finish on the seat was totally worn off. (the same worn material was found on all of the chairs in the lounge/dining area.) The tub had a constant drip, the soap pumps in the shower didn’t pump properly. The hairdryer only worked in one setting and when I looked at it, the side of the unit was melted through from an electrical short. Obviously we won’t be staying there again. I’m not sure if we’ll try the Hampton Inn that shares the parking lot or just go back to where we know it’s clean, safe, and smells good.

We only stayed to sleep since we were helping out brothers to be able to sell his house. Quite busy. After hard work, we really relaxed there! The room was very nice. Walking around the hotel and notice the rug was not vacuum. It was not so good. Short staffed. BUT in general we were very happy about with the room.

Took over 25 minutes to check in. No one could even answer the phone while I was at front counter. I don't blame it on the girl that checked me in. I blame it on management for only having 1 employee on at 6:00pm. Making 1 employee take care of current guest and trying to check people in is terrible idea. Guest shouldn't be made to wait that long with talking to no one couldn't even answer phone she was too busy, and employees shouldn't be treated that way. You set her up for failure and having to deal with upset guest because of management. I won't be staying here again for business.

Why did you put us in a room that had a broken ac system? Why was there only one bath towel for two people? Have you ever heard of inspecting a room before before putting a person in it? Other family members were with us staying in your hotel and there was something that didn’t work or was missing in their rooms as well. We rented a board room in your hotel for an outrageous fee which was a bare bones room. The lobby area was always hot and stuffy. In conclusion I would NEVER recommend your hotel to anyone. Totally over priced for what you received. Also I forgot to mention the room was never serviced once for anything. Not even a clean towel!

The stained carpeting and upholstery was a total turnoff to us. The condition of the chairs in the breakfast area was insulting. There is a lovely patio but unfortunately the garbage smelled so sitting at one end was not possible. There were other smells inside (dirty mop smell) that were not acceptable. The building is attractive and the rooms were comfortable but I would stay there again.

There was no AC in any of the common areas. The staff was less than helpful. When i arrived at the hotel (prior to 3pm check in) i asked if the room was ready. I was instantly told no without even looking into it. I understand check in is at 3 but to be told no without looking is frustrating. When asked for bedding for pullout sofa I was looked at like I was asking for something out of the norm. I asked for regular cream cheese at breakfast and was told no but when pressed they asked another employee and it was found.

Terrible breakfast, clean hotel
The breakfast was the most disappointing aspect of this stay. We were there all week and the coffee was full of grounds, breakfast was not ready at 6:30am, eggs were dry and crunchy, no milk for 3 of the days. The only thing reliably good to eat was the yogurt and granola and the waffles. This was a very disappointing breakfast. Otherwise, the hotel was clean, rooms were cleaned each day and the staff was friendly.

Room for four with large closet, but only 2 hangers; and front desk has no hangers. Sleeper sofa had no sheet or blanket; and front desk has no key to the linen closet. Pool is listed as an amenity, but has been closed for a long time. Dinner in lobby, but only 3 nights a week?!? Room was nice, but this is a terribly run hotel. Very disappointing. Not recommended.

Specifically that the front desk was not able to help you when you needed it. I will discuss this matter with senior management to make sure our team members better understand their responsibilities.

Hotel bumped us from our room. They sent a generic email 3 hours before we were supposed to check in. No phone call even though my phone number was on. Got to the hotel and we're told there were no other rooms available. The girl at the front desk was no help. Horrible experience.
