Very nice renovation between Rusticity and Modernity... Rental located on the borders of Périgord and Quercy, between Lot and Dordogne, in the heart of the Causses region. Come relax with your family in a quiet and magnificent place to recharge your batteries. Ideal base for discovering this region as much for its monuments as for its vineyards and its gastronomic dishes. Come and discover this superb “Cahors Wine”. Possibility of cellar visit... You can visit the following sites: Cahors, Gramat, Rocamadour, Padirac, St Cyr Lapopie, Sarlat, Gourdon, Lacave and Souillac... You will find numerous markets where local producers will introduce you to many products from the region (foie gras, duck, lamb, as well as all the culinary specialties...) Le cadre est très calme, idéal pour se ressourcer, et la région offre de nombreuses découvertes culturelles et naturelles.Pierre, en charge de l’intendance, a été particulièrement disponible et réactif, et le propriétaire s’est montré à l’écoute durant notre séjour.La piscine est très agréable et n’a posé aucun souci de cohabitation.Quelques améliorations mineures d’agencement pourraient rendre l’expérience encore plus confortable, comme cela avait déjà été mentionné en août 2022 : ampoules sans appliques, volet roulant défectueux, absence de wifi (annoncée, mais limitante en cas de télétravail), et un manque de rangements et d’aménagements dans les chambres.Malgré ces détails, nous gardons un très bon souvenir de notre séjour. ##### Stéphanie G. Maison au calme, très loin des maisons et de la foule, un bonheur le soir où l on peut profiter de la piscine à tout moment et faire des balades et profiter ..du calme !À une heure de Cahors, Rocamadour, du Gouffre de Padirac ou de Sarlat, nous en avons pris plein les yeux grâce à la localisation pendant les 7 jours .Il y a un lac à quelques kilomètres à Catus où on a pu également passer de supers moments ( jeux d'eau, snack, plage de sable et herbe gratuite).Après les excursions la grande piscine était la bienvenue, terrasse agréable et environnement magnifique.Sceptique au début quant au fait de devoir partager la piscine tout s est super bien déroulé de A à Z et l'espace est là et nous nous sommes tous éclatés dedans.Maison sans wifi les enfants et les grands se sont occupés différemment quand le téléphone ne captait pas certaines fois et ce n était pas plus mal finalement ! Par exemple, un des volets de la grande baie vitrée ne s'ouvre plus (et ce depuis 2 ans, ce n'est pas nouveau). Cela gâche un peu un des atouts de cette maison. Certaines lampes n'ont pas d'abat-jours et sont seulement des ampoules au bout des fils électriques. Il y a même une prise de courant avec les fils apparents dans une salle de bain (cachée derrière une panière). La cuisine mériterait un peu plus de matériel : il manque un peu de saladiers pour faire les salades d'été. A noter aussi que la description n'est pas correcte : la taille des lits adultes est incorrecte et le linge de maison n'est pas fourni, contrairement à ce qui est annoncé. Malgré ces désagréments, nous avons passé une très bonne semaine dans cet endroit calme avec un grand jardin pour que les enfants jouent et une grande piscine. L'auvent à côté de la cuisine est très bien pour manger dehors lorsque le soleil est au zénith ou le soir pour se protéger de la fraîcheur. La maison est au grand calme. L'emplacement, loin des éclairages publics, est aussi parfait pour regarder les étoiles le soir. ##### Remi V. La piscine est parfaite pour une famille et bien entretenue. Jeux de piscine et de société +DVD fournis. L'absence d'internet haut débit n'est pas un problème. Au contraire, déconnexion dans une belle nature. Bémols pour la maison: l'escalier est un peu dangereux pour les enfants, pas de climatisation dans la chambre du bas, et pas d'ombre possible pour la terrasse plein sud, utilisable donc seulement matin et soir. Nous n’avons pas pu profiter de la piscine à cause de la météo mais elle doit être agréable. La rénovation du gîte et des bâtisses autour est de qualité. N’espérez pas trouver du réseau 3 ou 4G, ça ne capte pas bien du tout (mais la collection de DVD est bien fournie, et nous avions prévu des activités manuelles pour les enfants). Grande piscine à partager avec le 2eme gîte voisin, très agréable elle aussi. Quelques éléments sont perfectibles (de quoi étendre les serviettes dans la salle de bain, l’étendoir à linge, quelques équipements de cuisine : couverts, couteaux... ) mais David semble à l’écoute de ses locataires et je suis sure qu’il saura prendre en compte nos remarques. Pas de commerces à pied mais en voiture à 5/10 min il y a tous ce qu'il faut. Piscine au sel ce qui est très agréable mais aussi plus sensible à la saleté. Petit bémol sur les équipements de la maison : il manque un parasol et une bonne table (une en plastique quand nous sommes arrivées) sur la terrasse et des couverts en bon état (ils étaient anciens) par exemple. Gîte très fonctionnel (il n'y manque rien) dans une bâtisse magnifiquement restaurée, au calme mais idéalement placé pour découvrir les sites historiques et touristiques du Quercy et du Périgord voisin. Et si vous appréciez la randonnée, voire la course à pied, la région ne vous décevra pas. La piscine avec vue plongeante sur la campagne environnante est top ! Bref, nous y avons passé un séjour en famille très, très agréable. Adultes et enfants enchantés ! Et en plus un propriétaire sympathique, bienveillant et disponible :) ##### Pierre-Yves B.
