El hotel está bien ubicado, el problema es que las habitaciones son muy viejas, la regadera se trababa, el baño se encharcaba, el agua salía a presión como si estuvieras en un lava carros, el internet es muy lento y el staff es muy atento quizá sea lo único destacable de el hotel con respecto al precio

Felicidades a todo el personal del hotel. Todos muy amables y dispuestos a ayudar a las personas que lo soliciten. Lo unico que no me gusto y que me desespero, fue que tuve muchos problemas para ordenar comida al cuarto. Una vez que entraba en el Codigo, me llevaba a una pagina de microsoft y tenia que poner mi email. Esto lo hice cinco veces y nunca me dejo ver el menu. Por favor haganlo mas facil, que el codigo abra el menu directamente seria mas facil y rapido. :) Gracias!

Clean, so sparkling! The food is incredible! The employees of this hotel are amazing. I have never had a better stay in any hotel then I have at the Crowne Plaza, Monterrey Mexico. They made me feel so welcome, relaxed, and spoiled. I go to Monterey quite a bit. I’m never staying anywhere else! Good job manager, and all employees!!❤️

Great hotel
The hotel is great, excelente location, the food at the restaurant is delicious. The only thing is the waiting line at the restaurant is to slow and they don't give fast pass to the guest at hotel with the breakfast already paid.

When I travel to Monterrey, I chose the Crown Plaza Monterrey Centro because it is conveniently located and a short walk from el barrio antiguo, the museums, and other sites such as San Pedro, and other sites.

Property was old and not maintained. Walls are thin and you can hear the neighbors conversation as if they are in the room with you. Mold near air vents. Small cockroach came out of coffee maker. Showers are faulty and leak. Room service trays are left in the hallway for more than 24 hours. After our 5 night stay we would not return. The only positive was the location and the doorman was very nice and helpful. They have blocked off the first three floors for remodeling so hopefully changes will be an improvement.

Hotel is situated 5-15 minutes from the Macroplaza, shopping, old town, museum and art gallery. Great indoor pool and hot tub. Staff was excellent. Breakfast was amazing at the hotel restaurant.

Checked in and was required to pay in full for 2 night stay, which I thought was strange but I did. Charge came through on card. Next morning get alert that another charge has come through, this time for 1 night. Figured it would drop off. Return to hotel after lunch, room key not working. Front desk accuses me of "not paying". I show them the cc charges, they say it's not valid since it's "pending" (like all cc charges are at first!). Had to call credit card company from desk. They say yes charge has been approved. Not good enough for staff. After 30 minutes of back and forth, they finally let us go the the room after a friend also in the hotel says he was allowed to pay at checkout. Next day at checkout it's the guy who checked me in and took payment. He says it's all good and we reversed the 2nd charge.... not sure what the heck is going on there but the front desk staff is clueless. Place is also pretty dumpy. Sink faucet wouldn't turn off and ran the whole time we were there. Bright light outside bathroom must be on to have any lighting or power outlets in room. There is a door you can close while you sleep but if you accidentally turn it off your devices stop charging. Felt it wasn't worth the price apart from whatever scam they were running at the front desk.

They have a check in procedure like in 90's if you are old enough to understand it. Long lines, lots of paper printing and documents photocopying... They also request yo endure the same procedure to check out. The Hotel is in the middle of a major urban reconstruction, so sidewalks are a clear and present danger.to your joints and bones. Staff is friendly and this place has some charm, but for the tired traveler,, the lines are a mo, no!

Very good hotel, fair price
Staff was super polite, friendly, and helpful. Room was always clean and updated. Stayed 3 nights, traveled, then came back for 4 more nights. Well located, near museums and shopping. The gym air quality sucked, but there's a Smart Fit gym a block away for $5/day. Food was very good. Can get crowded on weekends, but hey, it's Mexico. Enjoy!
