Hi, we are a 10 rooms hotel, we don’t understand how much staff you need to be satisfied. The reception closes at the time that is communicated before and during the stay. We sincerely do not understand what real problems you had.

Very good location and friendly staff. Breakfast was also good. On the negative side, we were given a room facing a wall and I thought we asked for a sea view, but for only one night not a problem. Many things in the room did not work. Shower head kept falling down and hit me in the head once, toilet didn’t flush very well, light over the sink didn’t work and the room safe was broken. Generally a good location and I would stay again, but would ask for a different room and hopefully less broken items.

The front desk staff went out of his way to accommodate all of our wishes, even comping our glasses of wine when our transportation arrived. He was very knowledgeable, having been born in the next town over and helped us make dinner and car reservations. The facility itself might not be 5star but the staff is!

This property was a great way to experience Monterosso. It’s quaint, right off the beach and the breakfast on the roof is delightful!

Nice location in Cinque Terre close to beach, trains, hikes. Staff was very friendly. We managed to get into our room at ~11:30 am which was a nice surprise. The room is nice with a comfortable bed, a big balcony with a sea view, plenty of storage. There's a bar/restaurant in the same building, a small grocery store nearby, a small public and private beaches with amenities very close by. The only negative is the shower. It is a plastic unit that is quite worn. It worked fine, but door is noisy and hard to close/open. Side-jets didn't work. Temperature control is quite finicky. Given positives we would stay again, but, given the rate for this hotel, I'd expect the shower to be in a tip-top condition.

We LOVED staying at this property in Monterosso. It was directly on the main street. Our room faced the water! We had a lovely, large balcony with table and chairs to sit out on. There was a rooftop patio where breakfast was served. While the room was not brand new, it was the largest of the four hotels we stayed at in Italy this trip, clean and well supplied. Large shower with multiple sprays, bidet, roomy closet and desk. We definitely hope to return to the area and this hotel. Staff was so helpful, too!

This is a very mediocre property. Don’t be over charged!!! The room with an o Cowan view did face the ocean but a large stand of trees blocked the view of the ocean. It is across from a busy children’s playground and soccer field. The bathroom is small and cheaply finished. All of this would have been fine for a moderately priced room. But I had paid a lot and expected a luxury hotel. This is a scam.

We knew this review was coming. If those who use the ota do not know that an additional fee is applied to the hotel cost of the room (and that the same ota applies an additional fee to the hotel), it is normal that you do not have a real perception of value. Moreover, the complaints made in recepion because he found a better rate than his, ignoring what revenue is, give the idea of the type of customer. We are anyway sorry about that, and sorry if something went wrong, among the hundreds of guests who leave 5 out of 5(for the same room), it can happen to those who are not comfortable. This should not allow anyone to be arrogant and rude to anyone who is working, but we will get over it.

Beach-front—two balconies made for pleasant sea air and views. Small staff was businesslike and helpful. Blackout blinds were great for shutting out light, but street activity right outside late into the night was pretty noisy. A small-resort feel; great old-town sights and hike trailheads are within close walking distance. Close to train station, too, and boat excursions. In Monterosso, everything is close.

Very nice hotel. Our room (#11) was fairly small but extremely clean and comfortable. Hotel is quiet. The balcony was the best part -- shade in the afternoon, and a FANTASTIC view of the coast. The rooftop terrace was another highlight. Breakfast on the terrace was great. The location was primo-- on the water and a short, flat walk to the train station. WiFi worked great. Did not turn on TV (why would you?) so can't comment on that. Highly recommend this hotel..

villa degli agentieri was only a few minutes away from the train station and was in a cozy location near the ocean. it had a great breakfast selection including eggs and croissants. The room was clean and spacious. I'd stay there again.

Location is fantastic. We had a room with a balcony which was very nice. Room was clean and we were given fresh towels daily. Hotel staff could be a bit friendlier. The bathroom in this room has to be the tiniest bathroom Ive ever seen!
