This Quality Inn is adjacent to the freeway, therefore it was never quiet. In addition, the room's faucet had the hot and cold water handles reversed on the sink.

Air vent in the bathroom and the air conditioner are very noisy. The air vent is also connected to the light switch of the BR; therefore, cannot just leave the light switch on without the noise of the air vent during the night. The furniture is in poor condition and dirty. Floor is not clean. Manager was helpful enough to approve the cancellation for the second day stay

Overall, my short stay was great. If you are looking for a quick place to catch some sleep or have a quick stay in Salinas I came in and used it as a place to sleep. The bed is comfortable. The inn is close to many attractions and tourist areas. The televisions has cable and there is Wi-Fi. My only complaints is that the mini refrigerator can get excessively loud and woke me up multiple times throughout the night. The shower head could use an upgrade for more pressure. The manager on property is lovely and kind. She provides great costumer services and was accomodal to my stay here. Overall, I give this place an 8.5/10

First time I see a very unlike Quality Inn. The place is dirty and not well kept. Staff is unfriendly and unprofessional. Dinning area is very small and food is awful.

Our room had a broken iron that leaked so we cleaned up the water with towels. The towels we used came out black with dirt from the room not being mopped. Room service exchanged out the iron but said that the towels would be charged. I dont know if it was because we were in a handicapped room that the beds had there original plastic on them or the hotel forgot to take it off but was not able to sleep because of the noise the plastic would make evertime we would move positions while sleeping. Woke up more tired then when i went to sleep.

Everything was dirty, hallways, elevator, room, etc… the hotel was full, lots of construction workers staying there and the smell of cannabis everywhere, we did not feel safe at all

terrible!
moved to 4 different rooms. first two the key ard wouldn't work...person on desk tried to no avail. next room, tv didn't work. person on desk tried her remote to no avail. next room the frig was broken ....the freezer door wouldn't close. the phone to office did not work and they knew it when they put me in there. . when brought to manager's attention , he was insistent I leave late at night and he'd refund me everything, he kept saying it , and I wouldn't leave late at night to find another place. he did this to intimidate me which it did because not only was no repairmen sent to room, ut then I found a blown out wall socket. I didn't bring it to his attention for more threats .

I would not suggest staying here unless you care to have a hooker for the night. Apparently two blocks down the road is hooker Avenue where all the cars are lined up and the ladies are on the street. The ladies bring the john's back to this hotel. As management said, nothing that they can do about it as they only get a slap on the wrist. I will never stay here again for this reason, other than that for the price, the room was clean and the room was in pretty good condition.

The room was not cleaned. We did ask for an early check-in a day ahead and was told to call the day of, and they allowed us to come in 1.5hrs earlier. Which was nice. We got the room in order to get ready for an event. The room walls had stains on them right by the door appeared to be blood stains. Glad we did not plan to stay the night there.

Very convenient location for weary travelers looking for an affordable place to sleep. Clean, not fancy. Very noisy as it's right by the on-ramp to the freeway, so we heard engines revving to accelerate all night.

Not easy check-in. Door was locked when I arrived past 10 pm to check-in. Bathtub looks dirty with stains on it. Towels were not clean with some stains on it. Room needs to be renovated. Place doesn't look safe. Breakfast was terrible. There was no butter and the staff that was assigned in the dining area was not paying attention to the needs of the customers. Tables and chairs were dirty.

employee at check in was helpful and patient. Dining area was too small. The hotel could have offered more for breakfast for that price. Room was small. My walker barely passed through certain areas. Cleaning staff missed prior guest's underwear. The dining room attendant was friendly and helpful.

When we got our rooms one of our rooms was still dirty not ready. We had to change the room then the second room had a strong smell of smoke in it as we walked in. Both our rooms were changed so that was good . But I was surprised to see that the room we stayed in needed some work. The AC unit was old it had the front broken but still worked, the mini fridge had a rusted rack . But that was not all the sink was slow and water was not running threw . The shows room / toilet looked like it was in need of fresh paint and some upgrades. The only good thing was that we only needed it for one day. I liked that the parking was well lighted. Other than that I will not be returning.

If Quality is the name they were far off. stains on the towel, stains on the floor, very loud fridge (if not unplugged you cannot sleep), rust inside fridge, AC witj broken control pannel - honestly very bad experience, would not recommend it to anyone with at least basic hygiene standards

Quality Inn Salinas Experience
I had to upgrade to a 2 bedroom. My original room was dirty and next to a utility room with a loud machine. My new rooms front door was falling off it's hinges. I had to put the couch to hold the door. I did not feel secure at all. The toilet seat was falling apart. Very bad experience.
