Nice place and very friendly staff. Only concern is the noise. Anyone walking, dragging a suitcase or talking outside the room in the courtyard may as well have been in the room with us. Location is pretty good if you want to be in walking distance of both the beach/wharf and downtown. In that regard it’s perfect. And the parking is reasonably priced.

The gentleman that checked me in Calvin was very helpful and pleasant. It was an easy walk to the Catalyst for a show, and was an easy walk to the pier. The room was nice, bed was comfy, and was clean. The lobby also had a really nice coffee/espresso machine in the lobby which way nicer than the usual room coffee you see. I will

All of the lights in the parking lot where out/broken when I arrived late at night which created a scary experience unloading the car in the dark. Staff was very nice over the phone, but ultimately I ended up leaving and looking for another hotel due to an overwhelming foul smell in my room. If you are planning to get into Santa Cruz late I would not recommend staying at the Pacific Blue Inn as there is no staff present at the hotel after 5pm.

It was a cute place! I was greeted by a really nice woman who made sure I knew where to park and where stuff was. She had a great energy. I liked that my room had a high ceiling and felt open. It was clean, the bed cozy, the bathroom nice, cute seating areas, and I didn’t hear a peep from any other rooms or the street. They had a parking lot to the right of the building. I walked to the corner for dinner. And I easily walked to the Kuumbwa Jazz Center for a concert. I would stay there again for sure.

This property is in a great location - close to shops and restaurants. It had a cute courtyard and the room had a fireplace, big bathroom, and comfortable bed.

Great location. Boutique hotel with very comfortable bed and plush towels. Coffee and tea machine available 24/7. Unfortunately you have to pay$15/day for Parking.

The room is clean . Toxic smell . We had to open the door whole Hour and left and come back 1 hour. When we came back , the toxic smell still. As my experience that smell is plastic covered electric line burned . We found out the heater in the room was extremely hot , we unplugged then the smell slowly releasing. So, we can sleep . I would recommended the owner should change the schedule workers , and they should have more care about the accident fired, it could be get fired .

Small 9 room hotel, close to downtown Santa Cruz. Clean room. The first night was quiet, however the second, there was a game nearby and could hear all the cheering, very noisy. There was an issue with my room., the heat wasn't working, and my colleague's room had an odor coming from the bathroom drain. We ended up moving to a new hotel half-way through our stay. The owner/staff were understanding and reimbursed us.

Staff was very helpful when checking in/out. Room was clean and quiet. Unfortunately the storm left the place without power for a while in the middle of the night and the chirping smoke detector was not fun to listen to. Staff made themselves available by text which was very helpful as well. Nice, quaint place to stay and the multifunctional coffee machine was great!

Santa Criz stay
Our stay was enjoyable. Parking could have been closer as we had to pay to park. Our room was clean except the floor could use a cleaning. Didn't look bad, until we wiped up a water spill and the wash cloth turned black. The baked goodies every afternoon were nice. Our host was very nice and asked daily if we needed anything. We would recommend staying hete.

Excellent location. The room and facilities were good but we were disappointed that in the 4 nights we were there we didn’t once get any housekeeping. We’re tidy people but even the trash didn’t get picked up. Hotels.com advertise daily housekeeping. It is remotely managed so only limited time to resolve any issues with a person.

Nice, comfy & quiet for a quick trip.
Not great, but pretty good. I'd stay again if they brought back breakfast. Someone (maybe manager, maybe maids) baked cookies during my stay. They were nice, though not marked. I didn't eat the second batch as I couldn't tell if it had peanut or something else. Lobby coffee machine was convenient, but no creamers. Ice/water dispenser needs cleaning/ decalcifying as of 9/9/22. Close to so many restaurants it was difficult to choose at times. All walkable.
