I would say you get what you pay for, but this is expensive for what you get here. I've stayed at other motel 6's and had way better experiences. We stayed there for three days and never had the room cleaned. Had to ask for clean towels every day. Switched rooms because the floors were sticky and dirty. Mold in the bathroom. Faucets broken. Had to go to the front desk each day and have them redo our room keys because they wouldn't open the door. No cribs. Had to ask for shampoo and soap. The women at the front desk at least were nice and obliging when they could be.

Overall, it’s satisfactory for the price. I would prefer to have a coffee maker in my room. I paid extra to have a fridge/freezer in my room but the freezer needed to be defrosted. It had such bad buildup of ice that I couldn’t use the freezer at all. Also, my companions had the exact same room but their fridge/freezer was much larger than the one in my room.

Don’t stay here
We complained to the office that the person above us was moving furniture and pacing all night long. Kept my kids up all night. The office said “well that’s motel 6 for ya” and did nothing. Dirty room and tweekers everywhere.

I see things did not go well with your reservation for one night August 19, 2023, which was reserved through Expedia. The room was available and held for your arrival date, which was not cancelled during Special Events weekend, you did receive a No-Show charge due this matter. Your reservation and room was held up until 5am August 20,2023. If the reservation would have been cancelled by the cancellation deadline time or even the day of arrival this would have given the property sufficient time to resell the room to someone else in need during the busy weekend with the entire peninsula sold out.

The check in person was lovely, the room was not. There were dead bugs on the floor. There were live bugs flying around and crawling on the bed, the floor was really dirty, the mattress was terrible. Plastic sheeting on the bed, so it is crunch crunch crunch all night. And in general the room was just a really rundown. I went to the front desk and asked for a new room, not on the ground floor, and it is cleaner, but still a terrible mattress and a plastic crunch crunch crunch. But no more bugs?

The check in was nice. However, they did not tell us that the 2 ice machines were broken. We didn't find that out until we went to get ice. There was plenty of parking and the room was clean. The bed however was hard and one of the pillows had a flat end and a lumpy end. To be honest, I have never seen one like it. This is a no-frills motel. There was no coffee maker or coffee in the room and also no hairdryer. I don't think that I would come back. I was expecting something better for $195 a night.

Thank you for your survey, we appreciate your stay with us. Motel 6 has daily coffee service available in the lobby area. Iron/iron board and hair dryers are available t request. Unfortunately our ice machines were broken into and are out of order, with a sign posted "Ice available at front desk upon request". The time frame of your reservation stay was during special events week happening in the Monterey County, (Moss Landing Antique Street Fair, Laguna Seca Car Races, Carmel Bach Festival, Soccer tournaments) and few other ones. Rates vary all throughout the county. Once again, we would like to thank you for choosing Motel 6 as you destinated stay and hope you have a better experience in the near future.

Unfortunately, this is not a homeless shelter, but we do help the county and families as need during the floodings of many homes and lives that are affected.We strive very hard to please and accommodate every guest with a clean property, rooms and a safe atmosphere.

I would never stay there again and I go to Watsonville once a year. I do not recommend this place to any one, the wall are not sound prof and we could here the couple next door to use having sex, and I had small children. Please fighting outside all night long and no one did anything. Did not have a good night sleep during my stay. no microwave no mini fridge, just not good place to stay. I had to go down every day to ask for clean towels, overall not a good stay.

As reviewing our daily requests from all guest logs, I do not show any complaints, issues or reporting of any of the items you have mentioned. Microwave and Refrigerator did not come with the room type you booked for, but can be requested for additional charges if you do not book the specific room type prior to checking in. I'm sorry to hear that you did not have a good stay, I highly recommend that you contact front desk immediately as issues arise whether here or any other hotel/motel, this will give both parties to make things corrected right away at the time of the issue itself. The hotel was very dirty! Sheets were stained. Rooms were very small, and smelled very bad. Overall my team was uncomfortable staying in this hotel. We will not be back for any future visits.

Stayed for 8 days with my 2 boys during a remodel because we have a dog and my landlord is economical and still paid over $200 a night. Cigarette butts and dog feces everywhere outside. Bags of garbage on the ground near the bins. Half the property is being lived in by low income tenants and filled bags of personal items and mops were leaning outside the rooms. The unpermitted pool is locked yet I noticed a man and boy in it. Housekeeping is non-existant. The TV didn't work for two days. Wiped a towel on the floor when we first arrived to remove spilt water and the towel turned black from the dirt. The air conditioner did not keep the room from being hot and the windows did not open. I felt like I was living in a ghetto. Attaching photos

Thank you for your review, I see part of your stay did not go well. As you were aware the city had power outages couple of days in a row, Staff had gone into your room to help you with the television and did inform you that the gaming station had to be unplugged from the TV to work.Pool is permitted and open to for guest use during operational hours and is closed during cleaning. Service is available for all stayovers on request, housekeeping staff do not enter rooms without guests request or guest being there. Clean towels and linen are also available 24 hours a day, can be requested at front desk. We would have been happy to give you a room move upon you contacting the front office of any issues you had encountered. Once again, our apologies that your expectations were not met.

Original room given door was wide open???host changed me rooms, last morning there woke up with bug crawling on wall and another on floor!!!! 2nd day there key not working had to go back to office to get it rescanned, ice maker out of service the 2 days I was there.

Thank you for the alert, we have security on property.No homeless individuals are on property site. Unfortunately, Cal Trans work is in progress by state on highway 1. Our property does have cameras and we have not had any issues of vehicles broken into it. We do apologize for the inconveniences this has brought you.
