We spent 7 nights at this property. The views from our room were stunning. The sound of the waves crashing fantastic. We had breakfast every day. The dinning room and service were excellent. The room was very comfortable, but could be updated. We had an incredible stay and will be back.

Room and grounds tired and needing of an update. Front desk staff uninformed and slow. Pool closed without any communication. Room not made up properly. No in-stay texting service to see if I needed anything.

First, the views are spectacular! The room we had was comfortable and clean. Staff at the hotel were friendly, helpful and courteous. The restaurant in the main building of the hotel had great food and more spectacular views. Be ready to go up and down stairs to get to your room. We happened to be in the worse possible spot, probably. We were on the 2nd level of the building we were in and the only way to get anywhere was to go up or down stairs. That was our only challenge though we managed. Bell staff is prepared to help with bags. There isn't a ton of parking but we were fortunate to get a spot near our room for the brief time we were there. Overall, I'd recommend this place and plan to return in the future.

Staff was friendly and very helpful. Pool was closed which was not good. Overall this is a beautiful place with great views of the Pacific Ocean.

A pool is important when traveling with children. Unfortunately, the fact that the pool is closed for maintenance wasn’t disclosed. Otherwise, I would have stayed elsewhere. They also couldn’t find my breakfast add -on. The room smelled like mold causing for horrible allergies.

The room was tired and out of date. The pictures in the app were not representative of the room we were given. I will be writing Hyatt and Expedia directly and blowing up social media. I expect more, much more from a high-end hotel.

Beautiful views and property. Check-in staff was slow to respond to be let help in the rain, but very helpful once available. Room heat was off and carpets were a little moist. Loved fireplaces prepped ready to light. Main lodge views are some of the best you will find on the central coast.

Beautiful scenery!! Great retreat!! Not sure why so many hotels have the tiniest garbage cans! Seriously…there is a small can for both garbage and recycling…and if you even get a pizza delivered, all bets are off! Not sure why so many hotels don’t have any garbage…get bigger cans!!! Also, a microwave is on request…Especially with the kitchen being down, put microwaves in the room!! You can “request” one, but by the time you have food delivered, it’s not even worth it! When there is nowhere close to go, you need a microwave in the room, without having to ask for it!! Other than those two things, beautiful place, and Sam, the valet was amazing!! Never had a “pull out” bed be more comfortable!! And seriously a great retreat for my friend and I when we both had terrible tragedy’s at the end of 2023 that we were trying to overcome! Loved the setting!!

While the grounds of the hotel are nice, the rooms are dated and in a desperate need of a renovation. In fact, rooms are 3 star hotel at most. Our ‘deluxe’ room with a view had a moldy smell and a feel of a cheap motel. The restaurant in the property is great, food was excellent, service not so much.

Nice property, beautiful ocean view, good dining options. I'd advise requesting a top-level room, as the herd of elephants in the room above ours became a bit of a distraction.

Our most expensive hotel for our trip and we were put in a room right beside the road. It smelled like stale water and we could hear cars passing constantly. View was nice but felt like we were put in the basement

Romantic Anniversary
It was so awesome. The coffeemaker leaked everywhere but the staff was quick to replace. They have maid and turn down services. The free breakfast was amazing!!! Overlooking the best coastline in California. We are definitely returning. We celebrated our 1year anniversary and it was perfect and extremely romantic

I requested rooms that were handicap accessible. My mother had a stroke and is using a cane. When I got there they did not provide me with a room that was accessible. It wasn't until we were leaving that a very nice employee showed a way near the pool where my mother didn't have to go up and down 4 flights of stairs. I really appreciate her help in assisting us in getting out.
