I try to make sure you won't need anything, but in case you do, I will be available by phone or text.
The Monterey is like a little "Mayberry", with friendly people and cute little shops down town that are fun to browse through. The Train Depot Museum tells the history of our town and mountain. There are antique stores, mom and pop restaurants, wonderful bakeries, a great Mexican store with all kinds of treasures from Mexico, Phillips shoes has great discounts on leather shoes and purses, Bee Rock is great place for hiking, repelling, a picnic, or just enjoying the mountain view and peace. There are many lakes, rivers and waterfalls within a short driving distance. Several state parks surround us.
We are a couple blocks off I 40, centrally located between Nashville, Knoxville and Chattanooga, and between Cookeville and Crossville. We're just 2 1/2 hours to the Smokies. And we are surrounded by beautiful state parks and golf clubs.
Fast Wifi is provided. Roku TV: Stream Netflix, Disney, Prime, Youtube, etc.
The next-door neighbor owns large dogs but they are very sweet and have never barked or charged. They are usually kept inside but from time to time the owner brings them outside.
