The property is nice but the check in is discriminatory. They assist first those customers who has luggage in order to get a tip. I took me two hours to finish the checking and get my rooms. Additionally, the food and drinks are limited.

We loved this place. Everyone you interacted with was super nice. We had an issue with our room and we weregivin( a new room the next day. Easy to arrange excursions and dining reservations were easy to make when we arrived. Someone is always cleaning something there. Food was good and had a lot of choices. If you reserve the Japanese restaurant, make sure you figure out how to reserve the hibachi part.

This resort was beautiful and the staff was very friendly. The rooms were very nice, beds and pillows were very comfortable.The food was very good as well. The only issue I had with this resort was their app and getting dinner reservations. We found you had to use a desktop to check in and set up reservations and once you got there the app worked better. Aside from the app I would reccommend this resort.

Property is dated; don’t appreciate the hotel sales staff approaching me on my vacation about joining the membership as it took up too much of our time and wasn’t prepared or expecting to spend or make any additional purchases for club membership which is like a timeshare deal offer; the meeting took up too much of our time and I did not like to be told that we need a master card or visa logo which sponsors the presentation/breakfast ,this was a way to lure prospects in to see if they can pay the fees after the presentation to buy the vacation/privilege mbr fees;I was not able to use my spa certificate because they were totally booked up so had to check out the next day as I could not redeem my gift after joining the privilege club;and also had a difficult time making reservations for the restaurants;had to eat in the Buffets areas most times…

We had a wonderful time at Bahia Principle Luxury side. The staff was wonderful - so friendly and helpful. The grounds are immaculately kept. Our room was airy and comfortable. We enjoyed having a balcony to sit on, that overlooked the pool and ocean. The beach was really nice and we never had a hard time getting loungers. I read reviews that said the resort is loud. Our room was right over the pool where they held the fun pool games. There is truth that if you want to go back to a silent room for a nap, that might be difficult (but we threw in earplugs and had no problems). But the resort is huge, so you could probably request a room in a quieter location. The food was hit or miss. There are plenty of options on the buffets, but they are the same every day - breakfast and lunch, so it's good to make reservations at the a la carte restaurants. We really liked Rodizio, Picasso, and Don Pablo. Skip the Mikado. Don't miss the Jerk Center that is on the family side. Sooo good. At other all-inclusive resorts we've attended they limit the number of restaurants you can make reservations for, but you can do one for every night you are at this resort - that was a huge perk! The entertainment staff is GREAT! They are friendly and fun. We did sunset yoga and the bike tour and both were worthwhile. We appreciated that there were multiple places and offerings to enjoy music, shows, and even a sports center so you always had things to do in the evenings. We will definitely go back!

All around a great experience. The staff were friendly, helpful and fun ! Food was delicious. Pools were always clean and well attended to. Evening entertainment was top of the line. Our corner room overlooked the ocean and the pool area and it was amazing. Third time to Jamaica and by far the best experience I had. Thank you for a great vacation.

Was a great experience. The resort was very clean and the entertainment was top notch. The restaurants were hard to book. Most of them were full. We didn’t really care for Don Pablo but other than that the food was pretty good😊

From the moment Holly greeted us, we knew we were in good hands. Swam with Dolphins, Rode horses in the ocean, Scuba dived and got two great massages. Entertainment onsite was great and Kareoke bar was a blast. The staff couldn’t do enough to assure for a perfect stay. We’ll be back Mon! Jamaica = One Love.

I love the adult only option in the hotel. This gave an extra comfort for the trip. The different beach options were amazing and quiet but when we wanted a fun vibe the pool was fantastic. The different dining experiences were outstanding, especially the Brazilian steakhouse! The staff were so lovely and hospitable. I have already been suggesting this hotel to many of my friends and family once I got home and I look forward to returning myself in the future. I cannot recommend this hotel enough!

Resort was beautiful! Clean and comfortable resort. Food was amazing compared to typical resort food. The activities and staff were very welcoming and hospitality was great. One thing I would suggest is adding hand soap to the bathroom. There was only body wash in the shower area, and no soap near the sink.

The resort was clean, the staff was attentive! Lots of activities and live music to enjoy if you want. The Bahia Principe app makes it very easy to book your restaurants and view what activities are happening.

The property is huge and beautiful and there are many Restaurant options to choose from. I would recommend to make reservations several days before your trip on the hotel app or there will not be any reservations available once you get there. However, the buffet and the restaurant out by the pool that doubles as the Radizio at night, are always available without reservations and very good. The only restaurant I did not like is the Picasso. Tips are supposed to be included, but you are still expected to tip for waitresses and room cleaning. If you are wanting ice in your room, you will have to call room service and sometimes it takes a long time for them to bring anything to you. I had requested pillows and an extension cord and I never got them. I think overall the property is kept very clean and there are always people cleaning and doing upkeep. We also signed up for an excursion to the blue hole and Dunn river Falls. I was looking forward to a wonderful swim in the blue hole but we’re taken to a spot above that instead, a spot where people were bearded up some stairs and expected to jump in and after that had to swim through a very rough patch of water. That was very disappointing because I did not want to jump, I wanted to swim in a beautiful blue hole. Also, if you see somebody there that offers you rum punch they will be charging you $20 for one cup. I was also a little disappointed about the beach area which was all in closed in rocks and very rocky.

This is a nice location but the property is outdated and needs an upgrade. The cleanliness of the room wasn’t that great, and I brought it the staff attention and they returned to Declan room. Not enough electrical outlets in the room.
