The beachfront was beautiful and we loved the little island we could wade to. The kids loved the tropical fish, crabs, and sea urchin they discovered. FYI, snorkeling gear is not available currently at the resort, so bring your own! Many dining options, good food, and the kids loved the buffet at the main restaurant. Friendly staff and daily room cleaning were also a plus! We will definitely return!

Nothing was relaxing about the environment. Could not get checked in timely. Over an hour later still no room and was sent to a far building with non working elevators. Weak alcohol in the drinks. No true lunch dining options. Food overall was not good quality or taste. Refused to use the fountain drink stations because the guests are filthy. Too many children in food areas. Availability of bottled water was scarce. Old bathroom facilities in room. Dining areas too crowded and not seated in a manner where other guests won't steal your table when you get up to visit the buffet. I love the way the property is set up, but it's old and the service is terrible for being drinks or food. Also the adult only pool is small. Different food options don't have good timing for availability throughout the day. Little to no adult entertainment. Walking paths make no sense. Some staff more helpful than others but the front desk reception needs work on getting customers checked in. Honestly not worth the money and would never book here again. I'm glad it was only one day but it was a horrible experience just getting a room.

The Hotel is definitely in need of some updates. Bathrooms are very small. Beds were comfy. Food was a bit disappointing. We have been to Jamaica 🇯🇲 about 15 times and to not have one of Jamaica’s well known beef or chicken Pattie’s at the Caribbean restaurant was such a huge disappointment. Our favorite ala carte restaurant was the Seabreeze. The jerk chicken hut was awesome and Chadesa was so awesome and fun. The other bartender who was amazing was Clayton at the Barefoot Bar. The grilled cheese, fries and nachos were good as well as their rolls, bread and pizza dough. The housekeeping department needs some help. Our room was not cleaned one day and we had to beg for clean washcloths and towels. In addition, pool towels are hard to come by. We had to keep our dirty pool towels the entire time until our last day. Other than that, we love Jamaica and will always make the best of our time there, even if they have liquid sunshine 🌧️ on one of or more of the days. Just remember to get out early in the morning to get a hut, chairs and some sun as the clouds and rain tend to roll in on the afternoons. Bring thermal mugs and your own reusable straws as their plastic cups are small and sometimes hard to come by and they have paper straws which are really not good when trying to enjoy a tropical drink like a dirty banana 🍌 Enjoy your time in Jamaica 🇯🇲 and make the most of your trip.
