Save yourself the headache and choose somewhere else. Not worth it. 1. It took over an hour to check-in despite there only being 4 people in front of us. The check-in was very hot and a chaotic scene. There were so many complaints from guests who were already checked-in that we immediately realized we choose the wrong place. 2. The TV in the room did not have a single channel that was working. Bring your own entertainment if you’re staying in your room for any amount of time. 3. The mini-fridge in our room did not work. I spoke to guest relations about this and they were going to send someone to our room. Unsurprisingly, no one ever came. This was an HUGE inconvenience for us as we needed to keep our infant’s bottles and food refrigerated. This only would make me never come back here. I wanted to bring this up to management, but of course, no manager could be found. 4. The place is very rundown and needs to be torn down and rebuilt.

Our family of 4 with kids, 13y and 11y from Canada had a wonderful time. It was our 20 years’ wedding anniversary trip. Despite the WiFi not working in the best connection, we loved all the food, lovely private beach and swimming in the pool and the ocean. There are so many great options for food and drink. Our kids loved to discover lots of stuff that they can do. We loved being in the resort and enjoyed ice cream and all the great treats. You can always find such a small negative things out of the great thing. We can say we had a great time!

Property extremely dated. Needs some love and fixing/modernizing. Beach is small alot of see grass which diminishes the swimable area. Don't be fooled by the add saying they have 2 queen size beds in fact there are no queen sized beds only double beds or king sized one. When you tell them you reserved 2 queen size bed they do not care and tell you to contact the person you booked with for me it was Expedia. They changed my room only because I had Expedia on the line wanting to talk to them. Service is slow not all staff is friendly but alot are . Food is good even though buffet doesn't have a plethora of diversified food what they have is actually good. The à la carte are all good except for the Japanese. In all if you're on a budget the hotel is ok if you are looking for a full resort feel there are better ones around.

It did not meet my expectations for service, amenities and guest safety service. I was also locked in an elevator that malfunctioned and although it apparently was known to be malfunctioning...no signage was in place before or after the event. Also no engineer last inspection date was apparent.

This property is not kept up well at all. Flies all over the restaurant area and mosquitoes everywhere at night. We stayed here after our flight was cancelled. Our original stay was at a Sandals resort and that’s definitely where I’ll be staying in the future. This was very subpar compared to their resort.

Some of these complaints in the comments are just too much! We had a great time, however there are many locals there but they are just trying to vacation as well! Loved the island and ALL of the on site restaurants are amazing and very nice! Is it a 5 star experience hotel? No……but it it is very beautiful with a lot of great amenities, we loved and for the price you can’t beat it! Some of the staff members could be a little more talkative but all and all great trip! Thank you

Property was very nice. Plenty of Dinner options and they were all great. Hoghly recommend the hibachi dinner (not all inclusive, but food was good and kids loved it). Breakfast was good plenty of options, omelette chefs do a great job, they dont stop! Lunch buffet was my least favorite, it wasnt bad, but could have more options. lunch at the pool hut make great burgers and good fried fish. (Thats it for lunch locations). Make sure to make reservations at each restaurant for dinner for each night as soon as you arrive. Theyre all great so try them all. All staff were helpful, and they were all great with my kids. First time ever leaving my kids at a kids club at any resort and they wanted to go back every day, they made friends very quickly either there or at the pool. My only real recommendation to the hotel would be to have more entertainment throughout the day for adults and kids. Now the beach was great, and clean, that little island prevents waves coming in so kids can actually enjoy the ocean. You can walk up to the rocks with your kids and see all the fishes, take some bread and feed them. Our kids (3 & 5) loved it. Airport is 10 minute drive so after a long flight it was a convenient resort all in all to be at. Wouldnt mind staying there again until kids are older to manage another 2hr drive after a long flight to see thebother side of the island.

Not my first choice in lodging. Came here as my only choice after the resort I had booked was completely down after hurricane and I was not informed until I got to resort. Had to come here first room was a nitemare complained and was moved to another room which was ok ac constantly leaked then froze over. The meals where horrible and resort restaurants where average at best the beach at location was nice and hopefully with new ownership this can be better but right now this is a resort for a person on the last leg of budget money for vacation

Our stay was literally 3 days after Hurricane Beryl hit the island, however there were still some things that could have been improved. The building and room in which we were assigned was very old and had limited amenities. Check-in process was cumbersome at best. Food was decent with the Jerk Hut being more enjoyable for me. I wish there was less seaweed in some parts of the water by the beach.

Staff was friendly overall. Kids club staff especially. It’s time to update the facilities. With the new owner hopefully they will renovate soon. Food was not bad at all. Only limited choices for dining. Maybe an upgrade would change that. Considering the hurricane damage we still enjoyed ourselves overall and were happy to have AC, WIFI and electricity.
