Awesome hotel with excellent service

We had an amazing trip at the Grand Palladium!! The staff was very nice right from the check in, the beach was gorgeous and the food was great. Would go back here in a heart beat!!

We returned 5 years later after being married at the same resort. Everyone was nice and made us feel special. Suggestion would be to have a anniversary package for guests to choose from.

Worst Hotel Experience ever.. Roper 8/10 to 8/16

Ok, My husband and I along with our 7 year old son recently took a 7 day vacation (8/10 to 8/16) here at Grand palladium Lucea in Jamaica and it was the worst is experienced ever! Upon our arrival we then checked into our rooms after along tedious travel day, upon arriving to our room it still was not ready, we had to wait outside until the maid was done, now this came after we arrived and hour early for check in (2pm) and waited an hour till 3pm for our room to be ready. Ok, so we eventually got into our rooms, we were so tired. The room was a junior suite on the Jamaica side (apparently they have 2 sides) which consisted of a King size bed and layout sofa couch/bed. As a rule of thumb we always inspect the bed and bathroom before anything else and what we found was atrocious and unsanitary. There was a plethora of mold on the mattress itself and within the bathroom shower!!! So what do we do next? We attempted to call the desk service to complain but the phone didnt work! Yes it didnt work to save our lives. So i had to walk all the way to the front desk to complain and request a room change and all the way back. Now about an hour had past (now about 430pm), my husband was so angry and tired of waiting for someone to contact us and change the room so he walked over there himself and requested to speak to the manager. He had taken pictures which he had shown her and advised her of what was going on, she told him to wait and another room would be ready. About 3 hrs later

Beautiful Resort

Pros: The rooms were gorgeous with plenty of amenities. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, especial Davian at reception. He was very helpful.
Cons: The food in the buffets could use improvement. There is a lack of flavor in many of the dishes. I was very disappointed with the Jamaican particularly
Location: The location is far out, so you need a taxi or car to see the "city." There's very little around the resort itself.
The hotel was very beautiful. The pool is enormous and there is plenty to do.

Staff was very nice and always willing to assist.

Pros: Everyone was very pleasant
Cons: More choices of food at the buffet restaurants, the 2 buffets had almost the same food every night.
Check in took about 3 hours and it being hot was very aggravating, but the staff was very nice and apologetic for the delay in the checking in.

Nice hotel but something was missing

The resort is beautiful but it was lacking in entertainment. I'm used to the resort putting on shows and getting people engaged in the activities but this hotel was too mellow for my taste. Our room was also too warm and muggy. We complained about the AC several times but nothing changed. It was way too uncomfortable. Would not go back.

Our vibrant entertainment center by the main pool is open daily from 10am-5pm and hosts a variety of activities such water aerobics, water polo, bingo, dance glasses, drink mixing classes and volleyball just to name a few. We also have nightly shows with a different theme each night and live band performances by Infinity. There are however various areas on property where there are no activities such as the adult beach by coral which caters to guest who need to just relax in a peaceful and quiet environment. We apologized for any inconveniences this may cause. We are sorry to know that the AC did not work in room. Our maintenance team tries at all times to resolve technical issues in the shortest possible time. It is hoped that despite this negative issue, you can give us another opportunity to serve you and show you our usual flawless service. We look forward to welcoming you back soon

Fabulous stay. I only gave a 4 about the room because they neglected to give us extra toilet paper 2 days in a row and ended up having to scout some out when we were out. I mentioned it to our cleaning lady and she was extremely apologetic. It was an amazing resort tho!! The food was unreal and the staff was awesome!!

Buena estancia!

Pros: Instalaciones, playa.
Cons: La etención en la recepción, los empleados no conocen los procedimientos y constantemente se preguntan entre ellos.
Location: Playa muy bonita, las albercas son grandes y hay espacios para niños. Cuenta con tours para ir hacia otros lados de la isla.
Hotel con buenas instalaciones, comodidades y diversión. Los horarios de los restaurantes pordrían mejorar ya que los especializados tienen un horario corto y siempre están saturados y con lista de espera. La atención en recepción puede mejorar.

Good food and amenities, slow service

We enjoyed our stay at Grand Palladium, but there is definity room for improvement. The food was the best we've had at an all-inclusive, but service at restaurants, bars, and the desk is very slow. The swim up bar was also out of cups leaving people waiting about 30 minutes for drinks. All staff was very sociable and courteous, though.

Very nice hotel, Close to the beach

Pros: I love this hotel because it's huge and a lot of restaurant you can choose ! Beautiful beach !
Cons: The hotel should do something for the walkway, when it rain so a lot of water around the walkway and staircase so slippery they didn't take care of !
Location: We stay there just 5 nights , not enough time to do anything outside the resort
Really love this resort ! A lot of restaurant , some of them good and some of them not that good Special steak house very good ! Italian restaurant very bad , we order pizza took them for along time and it came out so bad, the crust was raw and no taste ! Pasta not good either ! The room is clean but my son found a big cockroach in his suitcase, we have to chase and kill that cockroach !!!! So gross ! Beautiful beach and have free water sport ! Detffinetly we will be back !
