Great Location

Cons: More drink menus by the bar. (if i dont know what the staff knows how to make, how can i order?)
Location: Did the horseback riding + dune buggies.
Stayed here with the GF for 4 nights. Unfortunately mother nature wasn't too friendly, it rain two days/scattered showers. But other than that it was a very good resort. Decent size, I stayed in section 36 - 1 first floor. They have two buffets (one's AC seemed to work slightly better than the other) 6 special restaurants (Try out the INDIAN food, it was amazing) They have a sports center (basketball/tennis/soccer/mini golf/archery) Plenty of pools, even an adult only pool for those who want to be away from children. The beaches are nice as well, beautiful scenery surrounds the entire resort. The only complaint about the beach is that the sand is painful, they are not specks/grains of sands, they're more like chips of sand. Highly recommended. Although not a vegetarian myself, every restaurant had a vegetarian menu which I thought was nice. As all inclusive resorts go, this was fantastic.

Exceeded my expectations

Pros: We loved the jetted tub, spectacular sunsets and the pool!! So much fun at the swim up bar!
Cons: Wish there was staff made available to just help answer questions about how to optimize everything at resort. Please get rid of the wild cats!!!
Location: We liked that it was isolated from other resorts. Jeep excursion was a lot of fun!
We had a blast!! The place is very large so, it took us a bit to figure out where everything is and how things worked but, overall, we loved it. We didn't mind the extra walking considering how much food and drinks we consumed - LOL. The place is beautiful. Bartenders were good. Drinks were a bit weak but, just ask for extra alcohol and they will add it. This was our first all inclusive vacation so, we were not sure how to optimize resort. it took a few days but, we got hang of it.

All-Inclusive Resort

Pros: Spacious, clean rooms.
Cons: HONESTY of the housekeeping staff!!!!
Good food, Great room, but, depending on the building, can be far away from the activity 'hub'; long, hot walk! Italian Restaurant and the Steakhouse are musts for dinner. Steer clear of the Seafood Restaurant. Pools are wonderful, beach not so; VERY rocky! Had a total of $80 taken from our purses while staying in this resort! $60 from one, and $20 from another. Had our purses and other valuables locked in the room safe when not in the room, but, somehow the money still disappeared?! No jewelry or other items were taken - just cash! Keep cash on your person, not in the room at all !!!!

Great resort with lots amenities

Pros: It was a great place to relax. Everything was very positive. There is something for everyone there, including families and the elderly.
Location: Spa (costs were very reasonable). Activities at Sunset Cove(beach) were great. Staff are very friendly and endeavor to ensure the guests enjoy.
Lots of clean pools, beaches(semi-private too), free activities, spa, and many very good food restaurants. The resort is a great value. They strive to ensure you have a great time. Very relaxing. When we return to Jamaica this is the place we will be staying.

Love it!!

I had a GREAT time celebrating my boyfriend birthday at this resort. Upon my arrival (2:30p) I was greeted with a welcome drink and escorted to the front desk. The hotel was sold out at the Jamaica side so they upgraded our room to the Governor Suite free of charge. The suite was on the Lady Hamilton side of the resort by Jerk Hut. Let me tell you, this room was beyond amazing with two balconies facing the ocean. The food was amazing as well. Only complaint I had was everyday we had to call house keeping to remind them to bring fresh towels and wash rags. One night we waited 5hours.Overall I would give this resort a 4.8 because the employees are all humble, compassionate and sooo sweet. I'm definitely returning again because we didn't get a chance to do alot of excursions.

Terrible service And even worse food . They don't take reservations to the specialty restaurants and you are forced to wait for two hours to get in. Once you are there the wait time is another two hours to get your main dish. All the wait staff is super slow no matter if you are in a restaurant or waiting at the bar. When you go to the pool in the morning it is full of garbage and left over plastic cups from last night. I do not recommend this hotel to anybody. Save your money for something better. Food at the buffet is the same every single day.

Auf den ersten Blick Traumhaftes Hotel

Oberflächlich betrachtet ist das Hotel sehr luxuriös, weitläufig, die Zimmer sehr komfortabel und die Speisen sehr vielfältig und üppig. Schaut man genauer hin, gibt es viele Kleinigkeiten die in einem 5 Sterne Hotel nicht vorkommen sollten. Die alle Aufzulisten wäre jetzt sehr kleinlich, aber als Gesamteindruck ist es schon auffällig. Das Hotel liegt abgegenzt bzw. umranded von Mauern in einem touristisch nicht erschlossenen Teil Jamaikas. Wer hier ein kleines Dorf oder eine ursprüngliche Bar mit der "lockeren" Lebenseinstellung in kurzer Distanz sucht, sucht hier vergebens. Ohne Auto bekommt man von Jamaika rein gar nichts zu sehen. Ausflüge werden selbstverständlich für US Dollar angeboten. Das Hotel dient schon aufgrund des AIl Inklusive ausschließlich der Massenabfertigung. Ruhiges und entspanntes Karibik Feeling ist hier eher weniger vorzufinden. Das Personal ist stets bemüht, manchmal zuvorkommend, aber wirkt dennoch etwas gekünzelt, bzw. gelangweilt, was Ihnen bei der Vielzahl an zu betreuenden Gästen aber nicht vorzuwerfen ist. Der Check in ist anstrengend, das Personal dort ist nicht unfreundlich, aber auch nicht zuvorkommend.

Best resort ever!

We returned a second time to this resort (never felt compelled to do before with any resort). The amenities, food options, beach options, pool options and entertainment are unbeleivable! Great food, service, rooms, music shows, and beach options including adults only areas. A fun and relaxing reaort for any age. Only negative, we were disappointed they didn't accommodate our room request we made through Expedia when booked months in advance. They don't hold any specific rooms or buildings for you :/ but they did work hard to help us when we got there. But don't expect anyone to email you back about room requests.
