A wonderful, overall experience!
We stayed at the Grand Palladium for our Honeymoon. When we arrived on our first day, we were pleased with the very welcoming and fun-loving service. Everyone was exceptionally nice and everyone went out of their way to show us kindness and appreciation for being there. The facility itself is very nice, it looks impressive and is very large.
I was happy with everything in the resort except for 2 relatively important things. #1 is that the buffet food and even most of the "a la carte" dinners were pretty disappointing (mind you, we didn't realize that the "a la carte" dinners were included until a few days into our stay, but that's probably our bad for not knowing what we paid for). The wait staff and service were wonderful, but I cannot say that the food impressed me. It wasn't terrible, most of the time, just sort of underwhelming and not as high quality or authentic as you would expect from a Jamaican resort staffed by actual Jamaican people.
Issue #2 was our room. The room we booked online through Expedia seemed nice enough, but I was GREATLY disappointed when I was shown where we were actually staying. There are 2 sides of the resort, one having remodeled rooms that are SIGNIFICANTLY nicer than the other side. Fortunately, I expressed my displeasure about my room and the staff let be upgrade my room to one of the remodeled rooms on the nicer side of the resort (upsell successful!). Once in the remodeled room, all my dreams came true.
Long story short, good overall 4/5.

We are happy to know than you liked the room on the Lady Hamilton’s side and regret to learn that you were not satisfied with the room on Jamaica side of the resort.
