First time in Jamaica

Our first trip to Jamaica was because of Hurrricane Matthew. My niece originally planned to have her wedding in the Grand Bahamas. The staff at Grand Palladium were great and the facilities were okay.

Amazing place to stay.

Pros: Large resort, places to explore.
Cons: Tried to use the app for the resort. Wasn't too helpful.
Location: The resort is kinda far from the cities and night life. But great for lovers of nature.
The staff was so friendly. Food was great. And the drinks were flowing.

Wedding Anniversary Weekend.

Pros: We loved the bars, food and the pool.
Cons: Nightly Entertainment
Myself and my wife spend our 1st wedding anniversary there. I must say it was amazing. The grounds were impeccable, staff was friendly and food was AWESOME (especially the Italian restaurant). The jetted tub in the room was a plus. We enjoyed it to the max.

Great resort but staff could use some work

Gorgeous resort with great facilities and pretty good food. Great for families! We had a few service issues such as missing items in our room, a broken phone and an awful experience when we tried to go to the spa and they changed our appointment time and never apologized. Many of the staff were great and so friendly but there was a lack of management to escalate issues to. Our Expedia tour agents were amazing and helped us book two excursions. Look out for free gifts and tours - they are trying to sell you a timeshare! The room was a bit musty but overall comfortable. I would recommend this resort but would probably check out others instead of returning.

In regards to your comment about missing items in the room, did you made a report to our Guest Relations and Security Department? Once a report is made to these departments an investigation would have been done. We regret however to learn that some items were missing and we apologize for all the inconveniences you experienced as a result of this unfortunate issue. As it relates to your appointment at the spa been changed without notification, I can only imagine how disappointed this would have made you feel and once again apologize for this experience. We know we cannot bring back the past, but we would definitely like an opportunity to improve future visit(s). Once again, our humblest apology for all inconveniences experienced. We sincerely hope they will return in the near future, to witness all the improvements made, in all areas of the resort.

Relaxing time

We traveled with some friends for a get away and we were all happy with our stay !! Sunset cove beach was our favourite place to be during the day with so much to do and beautiful atmosphere

Needs Improvement

Pros: The property was very beautiful.
Cons: All the staff needs better customer service training, they weren't attentive or friendly.
I stayed at Lady Hamilton about 5yrs ago and it was excellent this time we stayed at The Grand Palladium for a family reunion and i would never make that mistake again; it has poor service and unfriendly staff. We couldn't get towels, wash clothes or even a drink at the bar sometimes. I paid for an all inclusive resort so i wouldn't have to worry about certain things, this was not the case at Grand Palladium. I am highly disappointed.

I had high hopes for a relaxing stay at this resort. I visit Jamaica often and do one night stays at different resorts so that when I bring friends/family I can make informed recommendations. The Palladium is nice looking from the outside and is in a great location, convenient to the airport and main roads. That's where the appeal stops. During check in I asked about a slightly later check out because I had a late flight the next day. A supervisor needed to be contacted but wouldn't be available nail the next morning. Of course the next morning there was still no supervisor and the room had already been re-rented. Not a huge deal but something that could have been addressed during check in, not brushed off as unimportant. This highly popular room was not clean. There was what felt like sand or dirt coating the floor. The bathroom smelled of mold and urine and there were random hairs from the previous guest all over the counter and floors. The furniture was dated and in disrepair. Speaking of disrepair, the closet door was off track and about 3 hours into our stay (during my nap) a repairman came to look at it. We hadn't called in the repair though so this was something the front desk had been made aware of but neglected to address in their haste to rent out the room. Just bad service all around.

It was a wonderful experience! The main pool is amazing and the staff went over and beyond to make our honeymoon amazing!
