The bathroom has a lovely porcelain cast iron tub! The location is very quiet and is a working farm, where you can see the barley seed being grown for Coors beer. Wish we could have stayed longer. It is definitely an older farmhouse feel and has been nicely updated but still has the old charm with creaking floors, etc. but nicely done. Stayed here with my wife for our anniversary and went to the dunes. Inside of the house was very clean and tidy, great amenities, we really enjoyed the electric fireplace in the master bedroom. Yard around the house was a little messy but we understand renovations were going on during our stay. We really liked the cat that came to greet us as soon as we pulled in and didn't hardly leave our side while we were outside, very charming! It was perfect for my parents and me to stay at during a family vacation. It's a beautifully restored farmhouse and I love the personal touches! It's my kind of place! It's close to pretty much everything in the San Luis Valley. We went to Alamosa in less than 20 minutes, the Sand Dunes in less than that! Beds were comfy. We used the hot tub that was nice. If your going to the Sand Dunes it's about 40 mins drive. I recommend staying here. ##### Ginger H. Your hosts are wonderful, accommodating and can answer probably any question you have about about farming barley and potatoes. We will definitely stay here again. It should be noted that there is only a claw foot bathtub, which is wonderful for baths but somewhat difficult to get into if you have any mobility issues.
