This hotel isn’t 4 star, very dated, extra cost to use sauna, no beach towels available. Very noisy, woken up at 4/5am from next door and upstairs everyday. Clean and fine for a base.

Property is outdated and a dire need of an update reminded my of Miami's South beach back in the 80's it smelled like old but the place was clean, the breakfast was decent and the staff was very helpful

Hotel room was a good size with an extra large balcony. There is an option to have your room serviced every day, we found the hotel to be very clean. The beach is a couple of minutes away as is restaurants, cafes and bars. The pool area is fine and there was always sunbeds available. There was also a good choice for breakfast.

Parking is a problem
Our main problem was the lack of parking, which was an important criteria for us when we booked. The receptionist just shrugged her shoulders we we pointed out that we booked a hotel with parking. The hotel’s car park only has 39 spaces and was full for our two day stay. We were put on a waiting list but never achieved a parking space. The nearby on street parking has a four hour maximum stay between 09.00-22.00 and the machine only takes coins. We were forced to get change and then keep returning to our vehicle every four hours which became restrictive of what we could do in a four hour window.

Only top floor was hotel the rest are apartments breakfast was ok but nothing special. Reception staff were good. A lot of pensioners and at weekend hotel was full of Portuguese and mainly Dutch tourists. Would stay there again as convenient

The property itself was fine for the price. Excellent location, proximity to beach, restaurants, bars etc. walkable. Felt safe. The hotel room doors need something on them to stop them slamming. It seems no one on our floor noticed this and the slamming, inadvertently, im sure, contined til well past 1am. 😵‍💫

Good location to stay in Monte Gordo!
Great location, easy walk to the beach, restaurants and Vila Real San Antonio. Room was confortable and spacious, staff friendly and professional. Good breakfast.

Great location within short walking distance from shops, beach and great restaurants. It is well maintained, usable outside pool area. Friendly and helpful staff. Will be staying there again.

The staff were rude and not accomodating. Shower was not working and amenities were poor. We had to check out and go to another hotel. We asked for a refund and the hotel and expedia were both not supportive of this and therefore we had a loss. Such a stressful situation that could have been handled better.

If You Like Beige You’ll Be Very Happy
First allow me to focus on the positive: no way you could catch the virus at this hotel, they are super careful. The gym was open and sanitized and breakfast is delicious. Now the things that make your stay more than just a bed to sleep in. The hotel is the most bland, absent of any color, hotel I have ever stayed in. The mattress is a little too firm and the polyester pillows are flat and hard. Nice sheets and a pleasant pool area. A pretty good value considering, but they should consider a makeover.

Staff were very friendly. Very clean and spacious room. The indoor pool was very small but had nice waterfall and jacuzzi features. Good selection at breakfast. Short walk to the beach, bars and restaurants.

Lovely hotel, clean and comfortable, location is short walk to beach, restaurants and bars. Nice pool area, lots of parking in the area.Try the locals bar opposite to the hotel on main road, just 2€ for a beer and a wine.

Nice stay
Generally nice. It's a shame we didn't have a view of the swimming pool as there were dogs barking all the time from our terrace. Nice swimming pool and spa, I don't know why you charge to use the sauna and steam room. Breakfast was great.
