Make unforgettable memories at our spacious and well-equipped retreat space, perfect for accommodating large groups for conferences or family gatherings. Located on a quiet 1-acre lot in a secluded forest setting, this property offers privacy and tranquility. The house features multiple floors, each offering unique amenities and comfortable living spaces. The ground floor includes a luxurious king bedroom, bathroom with shower, work station and laundry room. The main floor boasts an open concept, fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances, including a dishwasher, microwave, keurig, and drip coffee combo, stove top, and oven. Guests can gather around the bistro table and chairs or the bar stools at the island for casual dining and conversation. There is separate dining area, and spacious living area equipped with a large L shaped sofa and TV. On this level there are 2 bedrooms; 1 queen bedroom with an ensuite bathroom that includes a shower and a king bedroom. There is also a beautiful conversation area with 2 sofas, a tv and a work station. A deck accessible from the main floor provides outdoor space for relaxation. It features a solid wood table and chairs that can accommodate up to 12 people, as well as a comfortable sofa area for lounging and enjoying the serene surroundings. On the second floor, you'll find the primary bedroom, which boasts a king bed and an ensuite bathroom with double sinks and a shower. There is also a family room with a queen sofa bed, perfect for additional guests. Another bedroom on this floor is equipped with twin bunk beds and a full-size bed, offering flexible sleeping arrangements for various group sizes. Both the main and second floors have access to separate decks, allowing guests to enjoy the fresh air and scenic views. Outside, the property features a basketball court, providing a fun activity for guests of all ages. A fire table and Adirondack chairs add a warm and inviting ambiance. The house is spacious, in a beautiful quiet location. It has 3 large community spaces where the children could play and the adults could socialize. It is about a 10 minute walk from the trailhead for some beautiful hikes through the woods; at the same time it is only 15 minutes from a number of inviting beaches. Guests should be aware that there are 3 bathrooms, 2 of which are ensuite. That means that 2 bedrooms require descending either one or two flights of stairs to get access to the one bathroom not within a bedroom. That worked for us but might not for every group. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. ##### David S. The home is spectacular and cozy. The property is stunning, settled into a quiet neighborhood. In awe of its architecture and did not want to leave. Instructions were a breeze and it was easy to get in touch with the owner if needed. We had family meet for dinner and cooked in the kitchen which was well stocked. We drove up initially from Big Sur and my brother wanted to see a banana slug but we didn’t come across any there. Arrived here in Montara and this property had tons along the garden!! We were ecstatic and would look for them every chance we stepped outside. So cute! Thank you for the warm cozy stay. Kitchen is well equipped. The bedrooms were all great, super comfy memory foam beds. Some of the bedrooms don't have a bathroom (unclear in the listing photos), but one common bathroom is on the ground floor. We had to do a lot of sharing of bathrooms for 5 of us as this house is 3 levels! We enjoyed hanging out around the gas fire pit at night. A good spot for our annual team offsite. Amenities were nice overall, and the we enjoyed the house's modern and natural design. Kitchen was well appointed for cooking group meals, and ample indoor and outdoor seating. We liked having a separate "working" space and "lounging" space. Basketball court outside was fun! A few small quirks: (1) the kitchen cabinets can be hard to open/close (disclosed ahead of time in the check-in app, so we knew to expect this); (2) watch out for the steps in/out of the kitchen, definitely a trip hazard, (3) 2 of the 3 bathrooms are on-suites, so morning/night routines were harder for folks in the shared room upstairs; (4) someone was clearly watching the house from their car as we were checking out, which put pressure on making sure we left punctually. Very well appointed and beautifully decorated. If we had one wish it would be for one additional bathroom with a bathtub. But overall this was a winner and we would love to return. It was well appointed - the beds were so comfortable. The kitchen was new and open. We had all the plates, trays, bowls we needed. It was so peaceful and quiet. A short drive to the Moss Beach Distillery was worth it. And before check in - we got a fabulous link from the host about places to check out while we were in the area. Amazingly details, gorgeous furniture - so much light and air and views. And the kitchen is fabulous. Here's my one \*very small\* issue: You advertise a basketball court in the property description and there's a photo of it in the pics but the backboard and net weren't there (post is still in the ground though, so maybe it's being replaced?) - Anway, we had a few moments of a rather disappointed seven year old boy who was promised some basketball - but - he got over it pretty quickly when I broke out the whiffle ball that we had brought instead. And it rained on Tuesday - so no missed opportunity there. All in all - this place is more beautiful than advertised. ##### Ian R.
