The beach is the best beach I’ve been to in the Bay Area, it’s clean and the sand is smooth and falls off easily. The views and sunset were gorgeous to relax and watch. We enjoyed the birds in the trees and bushes and took many photos of the hummingbirds. However, the master bath did not have wash cloths or hand towels. And with 5 of us we had to wash dishes by hand every meal (hard to do with one dishtowel) so we had enough dishes for the next meal. Location is within walking distance of the beach and many hiking trails along the bluff. Property manager was quick to respond and bring us a new coffee maker when we realized the one in the kitchen was broken. The only negative for me was the King bed is very, very firm. Neighbors were extremely nice, and very helpful when we had questions. Far enough outside the city to be peaceful but close enough for an Uber. Walking distance to several restaurants at the Montará State Park, which was wonderful. It’s well appointed and cozy inside with spacious rooms and a beautiful deck and outside space that was perfect for us to enjoy and our dogs. The home is peaceful and beautifully maintained and felt comfortable from the moment we arrived!
