This is a funky old motel. It won’t appeal to the typical Tremblant skier/tourist because it’s not fixed up and it doesn’t have all the amenities of a conventional motel. It is, in a word, rustic. We had a family room, which was pretty basic, just a double bed with a bunk bed… some other rooms have small kitchenettes. The owners are very pleasant, and keep the place super clean. The property is on a small lake with a private beech (everything was covered in a pile of fresh snow, so it’s hard to say more). The rooms are small, and again, rustic. There is a communal kitchen where you can prepare a meal, or in times of non-pandemic, eat one. The front of the motel, facing the lake, is a long open porch, so rooms on the front open onto a covered view of the lake. Very nice. There are grocery stores and pretty much everything else within a couple of minutes in a car. The ski hill is a 15 minute drive (south side parking). Excellent, secluded location.
So, it’s a great value for a family looking for a ski vacation.
Things to be aware of… for early risers, the communal kitchen is locked until about 7:00 in the morning, so it is not possible to make coffee or prepare food earlier than this. (Note: our room had no coffee maker or kettle included.) Also, it’s an old wood frame building, so not at all sound proof. It was perfectly fine while I was there with my kids, but it might be an issue during summer months.
Will definitely stay here again.
