The host was very responsive and let me book within 2 hours since VRBO was also covering some over the cost (last minute cancellation). I did contact the host before 7am. « The house was spotless when we arrived and well equipped. We had an issue with our heat and the owner addressed it immediately which was much appreciated. Parking was easy as described. The neighborhood was pretty quiet for being in Philly! There are stores nearby if you need anything. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would stay again!We did stay with our 3 year old and the only suggestion I have is to have something to cover/block the basement stairs. There was a big draft coming upstairs...

The host delayed providing the entry code well past check-in time and refused to release it even after payment was completed. While security cameras are understandable, the extent of surveillance was not properly disclosed. The host repeatedly questioned whether we would be having a party simply because the booking was on New Year’s, which appeared to influence the refusal to provide access. This...
