Finding Bank Cottage is very easy with the directions. Tony and Eileen who are the cottage caretakers took great care of us as well. They are terrific people and very kind and gave great advice on local pubs and restaurants. The road up and then down to the driveway is no problem. Just take it slow, the people in the neighborhood are very friendly. Bank Cottage itself is in a stunning location with magnificent views over Llandogo and the Wye. We felt so at home, so quiet and clean and the cottage snug was fantastic for rainy days and evenings. Kitchen was also great. The location allowed us to really explore the Wye regions, all the way to Hay-on-Wye. Only about an hour from rambling in the Brecon Beacon area as well. Big bonus that they are both double bedrooms! The kitchen is well equipped with cooking utensils, and the cottage has ample games, DVDs and a smart TV for nights in. The views are amazing and it is so relaxing just being there. A word of warning the road to access the cottage is very narrow and difficult to do in the dark, which is what we did! I think the instructions need to be slightly better because photographs were referenced in the email I received but I couldn't find any photos so we had to guess a couple of things.
