Aug 1, 2025 #### Great for Guys fishing/hunting weekend, or over flow beds for nearby lakehouse If you're looking for an old cabin in the woods with practical amenities, this place has a lot to offer. We particularly valued the generous overflow sleeping and the ample parking for our car. The new washer and reliable older dryer were a nice touch, and the Wi-Fi worked well enough to work from the house, which was incredibly helpful. The clean, upgraded bathrooms were a standout, and the spacious bedrooms, each with its own TV, provided comfortable private spaces. The only minor points to consider are the dated decor and a slight musty smell throughout the house, and while the kitchen was a decent size, it reflects the older aesthetic. ##### Marie C. ### 8/10 Good #### M C. Jul 30, 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy House in the woods near a cove on SML. Knotty pine paneling and cabin decor throughout. Good- Rooms, bathrooms and house in general was clean and bug free. Extremely quiet.Fun to see the deer in the morning. We were there on some very hot days and the AC kept up. Lots of games to play, mostly for people 10\. House had a U shape drive way that would work for 1 vehicle pulling a boat/trailer. What could be better - kitchen equipment very outdated,. Had to call property management folks for a small issue. They were very responsive and fixed the issue. House had a slight musty smell. Probably because it has been raining quite a bit leading up to our visit. Owners could/should get the gutters cleaned and they should stain the upper deck which looks like it was built a few years ago but, never stained. We used the house for overflow sleeping, spent most of our time at SML at nearby lake house. ##### M C.
