"We love staying here. The rooms are perfect for a short stay. The beach is directly across the street. And the the staff are always so friendly and accommodating. Also love the FREE guest washer and dryer. It’s so nice coming home with clean laundry. "
"Great location from surf city beach and topsail pier. A couple minute walk down the street takes you to a cool little fishing pier and a great spot where we watched fireworks on the 4th without dealing with all the traffic. Kitchen has anything and everything you need to cook meals. It was big enough to fit our large family for card games and meals. Awesome spot I would recommend to anyone traveling to that area."

"The apartment was very comfortable. Bathtub incert needs replace. The beautiful screened in porch was really nice except it was dirty and the rusted chairs needed to be removed."
"This place is right on the beach. The best part is that it isn't one of those buildings with three or more floors. It's got one floor for guests that are staying there. It has two bedrooms--one with a king and the other with a large bed and two bunk beds. The A/C works great, the living room is spacious, and the balcony provides a great uninterrupted view of the beach. To get to the beach takes about one or two minutes--the walkway is adjacent to the house. Nice place."

"We were at Surf's Up during an extreme heat wave. The covered porch was awesome since it was too hot to be on the beach most of the day. The a/c couldn't quite keep up. When we notified the owners, they immediately took action and lined up two HVAC companies to check the a/c. Everyone was dealing with the extreme heat, so the technicians couldn't come that day. The owners bought a portable a/c unit, a super fan to push air down the hallway and two box fans. They set it all up and we proceeded to cool the house down. Lucky us, the HVAC company came over that evening and fixed the problem. We couldn't have asked for a better response from the owners."
"Easy to get to. Beach was close to the house which was very convenient to go back and forth from beach to house. Had a lot of utensils and cooking options in kitchen. All in all we had a very enjoyable time with family. "
