With its location, it is a good starting point for hiking and mountain climbing in the Julian Alps. It is also close to the trout-rich Radovna River and Kreda Lake. The house was renovated in 2019 as far as possible. The house is very popular with families with children, as it has plenty of space inside and outside, it is easily accessible and a great base for exploring the sights of the Slovenian Highlands u. a. Bled, Kranjska Gora and Planica. The chalet is about 20 minutes driving distance between Bled and Kranjska Gora. The motorway junction Karawanken Tunnel (border between Austria and Slovenia) is only 15 minutes away. Public connections are in Mojstrana (bus) and Jesenice (train). The chalet is located in a quiet environment surrounded by woods and meadows. No traffic! From the house south direction offers an open view of the Pokljuka mountain range with peaks over 2000m. The Radovna valley is located in the northwestern part of Slovenia within the Triglav National Park. The house is used most of the time by our family and sleeps 4 people. More people can be accommodated upon request. The exterior of the chalet follows the traditional look of the Slovenian highland houses, with individual elements which in particular provide ample light and great views to the outside. The interior of the house follows the local materials and is thus made of wood, brick and stone. The house has two floors. The ground floor has the entrance area, the kitchen and dining area, the lounge area with open fireplace and the bathroom and a storage room. The access to the upper floor leads via a staircase and leads you to two bedrooms, one south facing another towards north. Around the house are forest and meadows. The house has a shed, which serves as a storage and gear room. The nearest restaurant is the Psnak in Radovna. The nearest shops (open Mon to Sat)can be found in about 4km away Mojstrana. Other shops can be found in Jesenice, Kranjska Gora and Bled. From Radovna you can reach the main venues of the most famous winter sports competitions in about half an hour by car: the Ski World Cup in Kranjska Gora (Feb or March), the Biathlon World Cup on Pokljuka (Dec) and the Ski Jumps in Planica (March). All these places offer between December to March also opportunities for recreational winter athletes. In Mojstrana you will find the Slovenian mountaineer museum. Other museums can be found in Jesenice and the capital Ljubljana, which can be reached in less than an hour by car. Guests have full access to the main house, the basement, the shed and the garden. Free parking for up to 3 cars is available on site. Si vous aimez la campagne, le calme et la moyenne montagne, la maison est faite pour vous! Es ist alles vorhandEn und die Vermieter sind sehr nett. ##### Gaby H. ### 10/10 – Excellent #### Daniel H. 26 juill. 2021 Points forts : Propreté #### So macht Urlaub Spaß :) Wir waren zu viert (4 Erwachsene) für eine Woche im gemütlichen, kleinen Chalet von Klemen! Das Haus liegt am Ende einer Sackgasse und das einzige, was man tagsüber hört, sind die Kuhglocken der angrenzenden Weide - wunderbar erholsam! Im Haus gibt es auch alles, was man braucht (Geschirr, Waschmaschine, Bettwäsche etc). Alles war perfekt sauber und sehr gepflegt. Das einzige, was uns ziemlich gestört hat, war der starke Abflussgeruch in der Abstellkammer, der sich dann leider auch im ganzen Haus verteilt hat. Klemen weiß aber schon Bescheid und wird dieses Problem schnellstmöglich beheben. Ansonsten ist das Chalet der perfekte Ausgangspunkt für sämtliche Aktivitäten im Triglav Nationalpark. Es ist allerdings empfehlenswert mit dem Auto anzureisen, da man so natürlich einfacher und schneller von A nach B kommt (z.B. zu Restaurants etc). Die Kommunikation mit Klemen (Besitzer) war jederzeit unkompliziert und sehr angenehm. Insgesamt hatten wir eine richtig gute Zeit und hätten nichts dagegen wiederzukommen :) ##### Daniel H. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war sehr unkompliziert. Die Ausstattung ist sehr funktional. Wir hätten uns vorab ein Hinweis in den Ausstattungsmerkmalen gewünscht, dass keine Kleiderschränke vorhanden sind und das Gas abgestellt wurde. ##### Thomas P. We hebben genoten van het schitterende uitzicht op de alpenweide en bergen en van de rust. Wandelen en fietsen kan va het huis. Mooie ligging om Ljubljana, Bled etc. te bezoeken. Das Ferienhaus ist funktionell gut eingerichtet und sehr wohnlich. Für uns und unsere zwei Enkelkinder war es ein ideales Objekt. ##### Uwe R. Das Haus war sehr gut ausgestattet, uns fehlte es an nichts. Die Begrüßung war sehr herzlich obwohl wir kurzfristig unsere Ankunftszeit ändern mussten. Wir bekamen gute Tipps und aufkommende Fragen wurden schnell und ausführlich beantwortet. Wir fühlten uns sehr willkommen und haben die Woche sehr genossen. It was in a beautiful setting, looking out across a mountain valley, and very quiet and peaceful. The area is rich in flowers and wildlife. After a day of walking it was a pleasure to return to our comfortable house, well equipped and attractively recently refurbished. For us, the things we will remember most are the peace and quiet, the wonderfully dark nights, mountain flowers and birdsong; and the pleasure of returning to our lovely little house each day. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt und es war auch ideal für meine Hunde, wir waren gleich im Wald. Die Gegend ist traumhaft und man kann sobald man sich etwas auskennt tolle Touren machen.
