Sep 17, 2016 #### Well Located, lovely apartment Maestrale was a spacious well equipped apartment more than suitable for 2 people. The description of the property is accurate. We enjoyed our stay very much and used the apartment as a base to see the surrounding towns of Modica, Ragusa and Scicli and daily visits to the beach near Sampieri. You absolutely need a car but this is clearly stated in the description and is evident if you look at the map. The properties are well maintained and the the pool and garden are kept tidy and clean. The pool itself is delightful and never busy. Georgio, the owner is helpful and provides recommendations, if asked, for restaurants. The only criticism I had is that for self catering in Italy the occasional kitchen accessory was lacking, particularly a cheese grater We would happily recommend the property to friends if they wanted a rural property where you happy to use a car ##### Lorraine L.
