Aug 16, 2016 #### Il relax che cercavamo Ho scelto la casa per me e la mia famiglia in base alle immagini ed alla descrizione trovati sul sito, e sono stata veramente contenta di avere trovato tutto così come specificato nell'annuncio. La casa era pulita, curata e dotata di tutto ciò che serviva per rendere il nostro soggiorno piacevole e confortevole (anche più di quello che mi aspettavo di trovare) con un eccellente rapporto qualità/prezzo. La padrona di casa è stata molto disponibile e ci ha fornito tutte le indicazioni sia turistiche che pratiche sul paese e sui dintorni. La spiaggia splendida e la bambina si è divertita molto sia a mare sia durante le passeggiate serali sul lungomare con immancabile sosta all'area bimbi. In paese è possibile trovare tutto il necessario sia per non dover mai cucinare che per preparare dei pasti in casa e non abbiamo trovato i prezzi cari come si può pensare per una località turistica. Le foto e la descrizione corrispondevano esattamente, la casa è molto ben tenuta, spaziosa, pulita, a due passi dal mare e con lo spazio esterno molto godibile. Un ringraziamento particolare a Simona, che ci ha accolto, consigliato e fatto visitare la struttura che hanno a Modica, sempre con molta cortesia. Da consigliare assolutamente. Our hostess greeted us with a smile and a basket of local specialties. Only problem was the missing air conditioning; although, due to a heat wave which had even local people complaining, she rented a mobile unit for us, for which we are extremely grateful. Aug 2, 2015 #### Magnifico soggiorno nel Sud-Est della Sicilia Delizioso appartamento a Marina di Modica a breve distanza dal mare, molto curato, ben arredato e pulito. Da noi è stata particolarmente apprezzata la parte esterna con tavolo, sedie e dondolo in legno che è attrezzata anche con un piccolo lavandino e zona cottura. Tutto è come mostrato nelle foto, ma il piacere di una colazione o di una cena nelle fresche (per chi viene da Roma non c'è altra definizione) serate estive è difficilmente ritraibile in foto. La posizione è molto buona per godere sia delle molte spiagge vicine, sia per visitare gli imperdibili centri del barocco ibleo che sono situati nei dintorni, coniugando al meglio mare, relax e turismo storico-culturale, il tutto a prezzi assolutamente contenuti. I proprietari si sono dimostrati da subito molto cortesi e disponibili, e al nostro arrivo ci hanno immediatamente dato prova della vera ospitalità siciliana. Difficile essere accolti meglio, e quindi complimenti sia alla signora Simona che al papà per la cortesia e la professionalità. Soggiorno e riferimento consigliatissimi ##### Riccardo O. La titolare è gentile, simpatica e molto disponibile. Ho apprezzato l'estrema correttezza e trasparenza relativamente all'aspetto economico (migliore di quella del sito). Si riesce a creare un certo "giro d'aria" in casa che la rende gradevole e che ci ha permesso di sopravvivere ad una settimana molto calda anche senza aria condizionata (che non ci starebbe male, i ventilatori sono abbastanza rumorosi). Oct 22, 2014 #### Pretty Apartment With Garden We chose Annamare because it looked very stylish in the photos, and we were not disappointed. The apartment is not large, but has everything you need; plus the well-tended garden provides more space. In fact, you could almost live in the garden, since it comes with an additional kitchen corner! On our first night, after a late arrival (Ryanair) we did actually cook and eat in the garden, since our kind hostess had provided the basics for a meal (and also for breakfast). Simona was helpful throughout, and would text to ask if we needed anything. The village of Marina di Modica is mainly a holiday location, and was quiet late in the season, but all the restaurants were open, as was the small food shop. The apartment is a few minutes' walk from the pleasant promenade along the seafront, or from the main village centre. The beautiful UNESCO-listed baroque towns are a short drive away. Even Siracusa can be reached in about an hour, which was the longest trip we made. For fans of Commissario Montalbano films, there are sights you will recognise in Ragusa, Scicli and Modica, not to mention "Marinella", or Punta Secca in real life. As a bonus, the ruin used as "la Mànnara", la Fornace Penna, is just a stroll along the coast from Marina di Modica! Finally, don't miss the gelato from Fiore, on Via Verrazzano, near the Western end of the promenade! ##### Stephen G.
