Nice location, i was looking for something near to hospital area. Breakfast is ok not much options, clean room and appreciate front desk for free upgrade.

Pay for the better room
This is an older hotel that has remodeled the rooms but not the plumbing fixtures. It is a very big complex and it seems that some of the rooms are for permanent residents. The staff is very friendly. The room that we got had a small refrigerator filled with food! We called the office and they moved us to a better location. Pay for the upgraded room as you have to have a key to get in the building. The beds were very comfortable.

I do not like to give negative reviews, but I feel I must in this instance. My experience: 1) I arrived late. The hotel is located in a sketchy neighborhood, and the property was poorly lit (I initially thought it was closed). Definitely felt ill at ease. 2) The check in clerk was pleasant and efficient (the one bright spot of my experience). The room was at ground level and exposed to the parking lot, adding to my security concerns. 3) The room heater was loud, and I had to turn it off in order to sleep. 4) The floor was sticky! 5) The room was generally grimy. There had not been a deep clean for a long time. 6) The bed was lumpy. 7) Thin blankets, which was a problem because I needed to turn off the heater (see 3 above) 8) The shower was less nearly cold. Very unpleasant. I may be able to accept all of this if the room was priced accordingly, but it cost me about $130.

Check in smooth and room decor ok but both rooms we had had a vibrating noise in the wall: quiet in room 224, and loud in room 216. Mentioned it to receptionist, she told me no other rooms available, she can't check on it herself because of company policy and her disability, no other staff on site and maintenance guy she called said it's a known problem but I should just deal with it. If you can sleep through noise by all means stay here, otherwise, stay away!!!

This place was gross! Dirty walls, floor had dead bugs wipe down floor with towel and it was black. For a 170.00 dollar stay (because they charge 30.00 for my dogs) I would definitely expect a clean room.

We do have breakfast from 630 to 930 and at no time was there complaints about any bugs Thank you for your feedback

I could park my car n trailer in the bus parking area…very grateful for that. And when a homeless man approached me as I was getting my overnight bag from the trailer, I called the front desk for assistance and she called their security.

The hall ways were awful. Very dirty and it smelled like cigarettes everywhere. They charged me $50 apparently because the towels and sheets were dirty. I called to ask why and told them that the property was very dirty and that we would never stay theee again. The rep replied this was a free country and that we don’t have to stay there ever again. Bad customer service.

The property is in need of updating as it looks old and worn out. Shady looking characters on property. Room was old and not thoroughly cleaned. Bed was hard and pillows were as well. Had a terrible night trying to get comfortable in bed. Smell of Marijuana and cigarette smoke.

Thank you for your feedback. The hotel does not house the homeless nor do we discriminate on who rents rooms. We do not have people living here and we cannot control other buildings. We have security here 24 hours a day that makes this hotel very safe. Thank you again

I would like a refund
We didn’t stay. We’d like a refund. Didn’t appear safe. People trying to check in appeared to have trouble at front desk. The few guests that appeared to be staying at the hotel weee seen returning to their car, drinking. Homeless people were camped out around building in front of hotel. We stayed elsewhere in Modesto.

The hotel is remodeling rooms, I was in a renovated room and the furnishings were great, with nice decor. The rooms are large, new shower was nice size. Staff are friendly, pool was enjoyable Location is not where I would walk alone at night but the property itself was safe. One recommendation for the hotel, place electrical cord closer to desk so able to plug in computer and work at the desk

This place was dirty. Deep red stain on the carpet that looked like blood and they said was hair die a reddish brown stain on the mattress. Shower tiles had mold. Was so bad we had to leave.
