Only one pool was open (for very short hours) when we visited in March, so I felt like we didn’t get what we paid for. The hotel staff were exceptional! Extremely helpful and willing to go out of their way to ensure my stay was comfortable. The food at the hotel was excellent and staff in both restaurants were great. I was there for two weeks, and the shift supervisor was very concerned that I would get tired of the menu and offered several times to prepare something different for me. I speak zero Japanese, but the staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome and spoke to me in English as much as possible. Not expected from me by any means. One of the best places I have stayed. View from my room will be hard to best in any part of the world.
