There are books, games, and printed information about the area. The hosts even provide a bed, dish, and toys for your pup. The house is more roomy than it appears in photos. The bedrooms are separate from the living area and kitchen. The decor is artful and interesting. The host family is very artistic and there were many personal touches in the house.The location was central for all of our activities and easy to find.The fenced backyard was great for our dogs. And close to hikes near Missoula where they could run. There was a small mixup in our check in but the host responded immediately and everything was easily handled. It was so nice to have a home to come back to each night after sight-seeing and experiencing Missoula and the surrounding areas. Our host was very accommodating with everything from extra toothbrushes (and other items in case we forgot them) to a fresh loaf of cinnamon bread from a local bakery. We used to live in northern California and there was a Great Harvest bakery there. Thirteen years ago, we moved to Virginia where there are none. What a wonderful surprise! The home is on a corner in a very quiet neighborhood. Deer greeted us when we opened the door most mornings. The home was perfect as a central location for our day trips. Our family traveled to Missoula for a soccer tournament and thought this place was great! We arrived after a long drive to find to cookies and fresh eggs in the kitchen for us. Erin was responsive to our requests and we loved the large fenced backyard…perfect for our two dogs. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. Check out was a breeze.
