Tucked against reserve and less than a minutes’ walk (about 150m) from the beach, you’ll experience the best of both worlds when you stay at Litoria. Kids love the free splash pad, playground, skate park and basketball court just a 5–10min walk away. Ask us about our free passes to the Mission Beach Aquatic Centre with billabong, lap and hydrotherapy pools and kids splash pad. With 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, free Wi-Fi and a fully fenced yard, Litoria provides the perfect getaway for family or friends (including the furry kind). We’ve done many road trips staying in some great holiday houses and we wanted to include the best bits in our little piece of paradise. You’ll enjoy rainforest and garden views from the kitchen, living and dining building (pod) which opens up onto the outdoor living area—the heart of the house. Why not whip up a gourmet dinner in the fully equipped kitchen (down to the kitchen scales), throw a sausage on the barbecue on the undercover patio or brew up an early morning coffee and enjoy the birdsongs on the back deck before the rest of the house rises! At Litoria the indoors merge with the out, providing a relaxed resort feel. Living and bedroom pods are connected by a decked breezeway, interspersed with gardens and a water feature, which captures the cool sea breezes. With 4 bedrooms spread across 2 bedroom-pods, everyone can still have their own space to retreat to. Our modern bathrooms also embrace our tropical surrounds, opening up onto private garden courtyards. Fully pet friendly with concrete floors and fences, there is no need to leave your furry friend at home. We allow pets indoors but not on the furniture. An additional cleaning fee will be charged if your pets have been on the furniture. Pet bowls are also provided. We provide a welcome kit on arrival with dishwashing liquid, dishwasher tablets, washing powder, toilet paper, hand wash and shower gel—just enough to get you started. There is a Woolworths supermarket 5mins drive around the corner. To make your stay comfortable we’ve also included: • free Wi-Fi • television and soundbar in the living area (sound bar has wireless speakers that can be removed to create surround sound) • 50-inch smart television in Living Pod and 32 inch TV’s in the main bedroom and bedroom 3 • board games • fully equipped kitchen with walk-in pantry • cookbooks • Nespresso machine • dishwasher • barbecue • ceiling fans and air-conditioning throughout • fully fenced garden • undercover parking. The main bedroom pod has 2 bedrooms, ensuite, powder room and laundry (with washer and dryer). The second bedroom pod has two bedrooms and a shared bathroom. All bedrooms have air-conditioning, a ceiling fan, security screens on opening windows, a wardrobe, bedside tables and lamps. Main bedroom pod Master bedroom (sleeps 2)—1 x queen bed, ensuite with private garden courtyard, walk-in-robe and television. Please be aware that as with many seaside towns, mobile phone coverage does vary with provider and location depending on tower signals. If you are with Telstra or Optus you will experience the best coverage. Unfortunately, mobile phone coverage can be an issue for Vodafone users. In the house, connect to our free WIFI and enable WIFI calling on your phone. Woolworths supermarket opens six days a week, but it’s closed on Sunday’s. There is a mini-mart and fruit shop, located in the main Mission Beach township, that open on Sunday’s for any essential supplies. Mission Beach has some great cafes and restaurants spread across the four seaside villages. We loved the separation of living areas and bedrooms, it allowed for privacy when needed and awesome communal areas. The kitchen was very well equipped with quality appliances and cookware. The furniture and finishes in the living areas and bathrooms were beautiful and really added that tropical resort feel. Loved the large windows in the bathrooms with their own private garden courtyards. The concrete floors were great with kids snd dogs. The only issue we had was that the breezeway between the bedroom wings had no roof over it, and we had quite a bit of rain, so we were constantly walking water inside the house. Some small doormats could be a useful addition. But honestly, I would recommend this beautiful holiday home to anyone! ##### Yvonne M. This pet friendly holiday home is always immaculate when we arrive and has a fabulously equipped kitchen…great for relaxed breakfasts overlooking the rainforest from the back deck.
